This paper aims to study effect of MQL using nano cutting oil on the hard milling process. The Box-Behnken experimental design was utilized to investigate the effects of input variables on the responses. The obtained results indicated that the concentration of nanoparticles, cutting speed and feed rate cause the strong influences on the surface roughness and cutting forces.

Obesity is a global health issue caused by consuming too much energy compared to the body's needs, which negatively impacts almost every organ of the body. As a result, generating an experimental obesity model is critical for researching new drugs to improve obesity and its consequences. Objectives: Generating obesity model of male mice over a 6-week period of feeding by a high-fat diet.

The effect of machining parameters on the surface roughness in dry-turning Ti6Al4V alloy using an experimental design method was investigated. A mathematical equation based on the response surface methodology was established to fully understand the influence of machining parameters (cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut) on the surface roughness.

Each occupation and each type of labor in society has different characteristics. Of which, there are occupations with high specificity, where workers have to work in special environments and conditions, even very hard conditions. We aimed to evaluate the energy consumption of the soldiers during labor, military training, and work.

In this paper, we propose an intelligent control scheme to improve the performance of a typical heat furnace. The mathematical model of the plant is first identified based on the experimental data acquired. The controller is then designed with a proportional-integral (PI) regulator and a neural-network-based adjustor.

The Hemiptera (aphids, cicadas, and true bugs) are a key insect order, with high diversity for feeding ecology and excellent experimental tractability for molecular genetics. Building upon recent sequencing of hemipteran pests such as phloem-feeding aphids and blood-feeding bed bugs, we present the genome sequence and comparative analyses centered on the milkweed bug Oncopeltus fasciatus, a seed feeder of the family Lygaeidae.

An association between equine gastrointestinal disease causing colic signs and changes in faecal bacterial microbiota has been identified. The reasons for these changes and their clinical relevance has not been investigated. Withholding feed, which is an integral part of managing horses with colic, may contribute to the observed changes in the microbiota and impact interpretation of findings in horses with colic.

This work is aimed to evaluate the effect of natural zeolite on selected parameters of the rabbit's meat chemical composition. The rabbits of the Castorex breed (n=12) were divided into two groups: Control group C (n=6) without the addition of zeolite in feed and the experimental group Z (n=6) in which animals received zeolite daily in a peroral form in concentration 0.2 g/kg of body weight.

CO2 valorization through chemical reactions attracts significant attention due to the mitigation of greenhouse gas effects. This article covers the catalytic hydrogenation of CO2 to methanol and dimethyl ether using Cu-Ho-Ga containing ZSM-5 and g-Al2O3 at atmospheric pressure and at temperatures of 210°C and 260°C using a CO2:H2 feed ratio of 1:3 and 1:9. In addition, the thermodynamic limitations of methanol and DME formation from CO2 was investigated at a temperature range of 100–400°C.

In this research, the influence of the cutting parameters including cutting speed, feed rate and cutting depth on the flank wear and surface roughness was analyzed by using 2k experimental model with some center points. The results investigated that the feed rate is the most significant parameter effecting on the surface roughness in the machining process and the cutting speed strongly affects on the flank wear in the hard turning of sintered tungsten carbide using CBN inserts.

This paper studied the relationship between the cutting force, surface roughness and chip shrinkage coefficient through the affect of cutting parameters, i.e., cutting speed, feed rate and uncut chip thickness. Experimental results of the chip shrinkage coefficient, cutting force and surface roughness at various cutting parameter values for high-speed milling of A6061 aluminum alloy were presented in this study. The results show that the cutting force and surface roughness can be derived based on the relationships with chip shrinkage coefficient.

Five weeks feeding trail with 80 day old broiler chicks was conducted to find out the effect of two supplemental enzymes with ration containing high level of non starch polysaccharides (NSP). Day old chicks (Cobb) of both sexes were distributed randomly into four experimental groups with two replicates of ten birds in each replicate. A maizesoyabean meal diet formulated to have 7% total NSP served as control (T1).

In this study, a direct contact membrane distillation (DCMD) process of the LiCl liquid desiccant solution was simulated using MATLAB software. The simulation was first validated with the data obtained from experimental tests. Then, it was used to elucidate the feed and distillate temperatures, LiCl concentration, and water flux profiles along the membrane leaf inside the DCMD membrane module. Finally, with the help of the simulation, the effects of membrane properties and process operating conditions on the DCMD process performance were systematically examined.
