Glioblastoma is a malignant and aggressive type of central nevous system malignancy characterized by many distinct biological features including extensive hypoxia. Hypoxia in glioblatoma associates with complex signaling patterns including activation of several pathways such as MAPK, PI3K-AKT/mTOR and IL-6/JAK/STAT3 with the master regulator HIF-1, which in turn drive particular tumor behaviors determining, in the end, treatment outcomes and patients fate.

In this research, in an attempt to make use of the kaolin resources in Vietnam, we present a synthetic process of zeolite A via hydrothermal from kaolinite, together with the modification process of zeolite A using different metallic cations. The characteristics of the prepared zeolite LTAs such as chemical composition and crystalline structure, as well as their catalytic activity in the methanation reaction of carbon dioxide (CO2) to methane (CH4) were extensively investigated.

Biodegradable “green” and safe substitutes to minimize environmental and health risks are drawing extensive attention for research interest. This research aims to create a water-soluble cationic starch-grafted biodegradable polymer that can be used as a flocculant. As polymers are strong molecules that carry charges, they are effective flocculants. Saturated polymer chains do not change the pH value on adding to wastewater.
