Wi-Fi Fingerprinting based Indoor Positioning System (IPS) aims to help locate and navigate users inside buildings. It has become a popular research topic in recent years with two goals of removing redundant data and increasing positioning accuracy and it has produced acceptable results. In this paper, we propose a feature reduction method and apply a machine learning model that combines two-phases.

Attribute reduction is one important part researched in rough set theory. A reduct from a decision table is a minimal subset of the conditional attributes which provide the same information for classification purposes as the entire set of available attributes.

This paper presents an application of Multilayer Feed-forward Neural Networks (MLFN) for Dynamic Stability Assessment (DSA) with feature reduction techniques. Dynamic stability of the power system is first determined based on the generator relative rotor angles obtained from time domain simulations.

Abiotic stresses are serious environmental factors militating against the production of many crops around the world. The consequence of this, is the difficulty of meeting the demands of the increasing world population. Aside from other negative effects, reduction in photosynthesis is an important feature of abiotic stresses. Abiotic stresses limit photosynthesis in a number of ways. The reduction in ribulose 1, 5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (Rubisco) content and activity is one of the paramount ways through which abiotic stresses affect photosynthesis.

The Design and Construction (D-C or also called turnkey) project delivery method is one of the most popular delivering strategies in almost large and complex construction projects because of its undeniable advantages of reduction not only in project cost, project time for the client, but also in stakeholders’ conflicts, and especially because of its striking features of risk transference from the client to the head contractor through the contract.

We develop a New Keynesian model featuring Calvo price setting and Calvo wage setting to study welfare consequences of exogenous variations in trend inflation. We find that shifting trend inflation produces a large welfare cost, which can be mainly accounted not only by a reduction of the average level of consumption and working hours, but also by an increase in their volatility.

A set of catalysts having gold nanoparticles deposited on γ-Al2O3 (Au/γ-Al2O3) with lowest effective amount of gold content were prepared by successive impregnation and hydrogen reduction method. The structural features of prepared catalysts were analysed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 physisorption, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). The catalytic activity was evaluated for the reduction of an organic pollutant 4-nitrophenol (4NP) to 4-aminophenol (4AP) by spectrophotometric analysis.

However, the relationship features of these bacterial groups need deeply investigation for understanding their role of reductive dechlorination, anaerobic degradation in herbicide/dioxin contaminated heavy soil and sediment. These results provide additional evidence to explain why heavy herbicide/dioxin contaminated soil was detoxified successfully at Bien Hoa airbase, Vietnam.

Miniature size in horses represents an extreme reduction of withers height that originated after domestication. In some breeds, it is a highly desired trait representing a breed- or subtype-specific feature. The genomic changes that emerged due to strong-targeted selection towards this distinct type remain unclear.

After polyploidization, a genome may experience large-scale genome-repatterning, featuring wide-spread DNA rearrangement and loss, and often chromosome number reduction. Grasses share a common tetraploidization, after which the originally doubled chromosome numbers reduced to different chromosome numbers among them.
