Two adjacent catchments, Himayath sagar and Osman sagar, located Rangareddy district of Telangana state, India were selected for study.   • A high frequency directional pass band from of the contourlet transform is selected for data embedding. Image features like Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR). The proposed method show that we could successfully embed data in cover_images and extract it with the average embedding capacity of (1/16) bits per pixel without any error.   • We propose a content based video retrieval system in some main steps resulting in a good performance. From a main video, we process extracting keyframes and principal objects using Segmentation of Aggregating Superpixels (SAS) algorithm. After that, Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF) are selected from those principal objects. Then, the model “Bag-of-words” in accompanied by SVM classification are applied to obtain the retrieval result. Our system is evaluated on over 300 videos in diversity from music, history, movie, sports, and natural scene to TV program show.

  • We explore learning prepositionalphrase attachment in Dutch, to use it as a filter in prosodic phrasing. From a syntactic treebank of spoken Dutch we extract instances of the attachment of prepositional phrases to either a governing verb or noun. Using cross-validated parameter and feature selection, we train two learning algorithms, TB I and RIPPER, 011 making this distinction, based on unigram and bigram lexical features and a cooccurrence feature derived from WWW counts.

  • In this paper we address the problem of extracting features relevant for predicting protein±protein interaction sites from the three-dimensional structures of protein complexes. Our approach is based on information about evolutionary con-servation and surface disposition. We implement a neural network based system, which uses a cross validation proce-dure and allows the correct detection of 73% of the residues involved in protein interactions in a selected database comprising 226 heterodimers.
