The field study consisted of eight treatments, in which drip fertigation was given in T1 to T3 with 75%, 100% and 125%of recommended dose (RDF, 80:40:40 kg NPK/ ha) as straight fertilizers N and K (urea and MOP) and SSP was applied as basal dose. In T4 to T6 fertigation provided with 75%, 100% and 125% RDF of water soluble fertilizer (19:19:19). Drip irrigation with 100% RDF (all as soil application) was given in T7 and T8 with drip irrigation and STCR based fertilizer application.

The fertilizer adjustment equations evolved during previous season for the Swarna variety of rice was tested and fertilizer application with organic source (FYM). It was also noticed that fertilizer dose applied based on STCR prescription derived previously to achieve a definite yield target could not be obtained. This may be due to differences in various input use efficiency, nutritional requirement.

On the basis of soil test value of farmer field, fertilizer prescription equations are essential to demonstrate the effectiveness of technology delivery to the stake holders in need. The present study was conducted at Bhojpur to evaluate the model through field experiments in Eastern zone of Uttar-Pradesh. The treatments included control, general recommendation dose, farmer practice, soil test crop response STCR based fertilizer dose for an yield target of 4.5 and 5.0 t ha-1 .

A field experiment was conducted during 2014-15 to study the impact of continuous application of organic manures and inorganic fertilizers on cane yield, jaggery yield, quality of sugarcane and soil fertility status after harvest at Agricultural Research Station, Perumallapalle, ANGRAU. The experiment consisted of two treatments i.e. organic and inorganic treatments. FYM and vermi compost were applied to organic treated plot based on N equivalent and recommended dose of fertilizers (224:112:112 kg NPK ha-1 ) were applied to inorganic treated plot.

In the traditional treatment, Ng, each tree received 500/600/400 g of NPK fertilizer at the beginning of February. Other fertilizer doses were applied in the irrigation water through a drip system. Irrigation water amount was calculated based on Class A-Pan evaporation. Wetted percentage in each irrigation was 30%.
