  • The experiment was conducted in Horticulture Garden of Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur (U.P.) during the year 2016-2017. The experiment was carried out in Factorial Randomized Block Design with sixteen treatments. The treatments were comprised of combination of four levels of both the micronutrients i.e., Boron (0 %, 0.2 %, 0.3 % and 0.4 %) and Zinc (0 %, 0.4 %, 0.5 % and 0.6 %). Overall, there were sixteen treatment combinations randomly allotted to different plots.

  • Lung cancer is one of the quickest and most fatal diseases and is divided into two types: small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Approximately 50% of NSCLC patients harbour mutations in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene, spanning from exon 18 to exon 21, which are responsible for the tyrosine kinase domain of the EGFR protein. Currently, gefitinib and erlotinib are two drugs inhibiting EGFR which are used in the treatment of lung cancer. The indication for use of these drugs depends on the mutation status of EGFR.

  • Ebola virus is a deadly causative agent with a high mortality rate of up to 90%, therefore it has been classified by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a category A biological agent. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommended using RT-PCR based assays to rapidly detect the virus. In the present study, we established an in-house assay for detection of Zaire ebolavirus via real-time RT-PCR. The nucleotide sequence of the Zaire ebolavirus nucleoprotein (NP) gene was retrieved from the Genbank for designing primer pairs and probes using Primer Express 3.0 software.

  • Global business life nowadays is marked by quickly evolving forms of cooperation. These are often set in virtual space where various members from different countries are brought together in order to collaborate. This trend calls for specific abilities in communication that respond to the challenges evoked by the ever evolving and newly forming nature of international virtual project teams. In this paper, these abilities are called “agile communication skills”.

  • The essential characteristics of system testing are that it is comprehensive, based on a specification of observable behavior, and independent of design and implementation decisions. Independence in system testing avoids repeating software design errors in test design. Acceptance testing abandons specifications in favor of users, and measures how the final system meets users' expectations. Regression testing checks for faults introduced during evolution.

  • Written by the inventor of the language, the book is the defining, classic text on the language that has become central to software development over the past five years. This third edition incorporates additions and changes on a major scale. In particular, the new edition is based on the ANSI/ISO C++ final draft with its many new language features - templates, exceptions, namespaces, and run-time type identification, to name a few - in addition to the C++ Standard Template Library that has revolutionized C++ development. ...

  • Most existing anaphora resolution algorithms are designed to account only for anaphors with NP-antecedents. This paper describes an algorithm for the resolution of discourse deictic anaphors, which constitute a large percentage of anaphors in spoken dialogues. The success of the resolution is dependent on the classification of all pronouns and demonstratives into individual, discourse deictic and vague anaphora. Finally, the empirical results of the application of the algorithm to a corpus of spoken dialogues are presented. spoken language cannot succeed without taking this into account.

  • This paper discusses the structure and components of databases for real-world e-commerce systems. We first present an integrated 8-process value chain needed by the e-commerce system and its associated data in each stage of the value chain. We then discuss logical components of a typical e-commerce database system. Finally, we illustrate a detailed design of an e-commerce transaction processing system and comment on a few design considerations specific to e-commerce database systems, such as the primary key, foreign key, outer join, use of weak entity, and schema partition.

  • Diffusion (Activity D) : one more time, in other ESPON projects, the diffusion of results is a specific task that is related to the promotion of valorization of results that has been achieved. It takes place normally during the final period of activity. It is not the case for ESPON DB project where diffusion of data and maps to other ESPON projects is a prior task since the very beginning of the period of activity (e.g. Map kit tool and database to be delivered and update regularly). Moreover, one of the tasks of the ESPON DB project is to support...

  • With each project, unique tasks are completed in a specified period and contribute to the final result. In contrast, ongoing operations are continuous and do not have a designated end date of completion. People assigned to a specific project may come from different parts of an organization or even from outside the organization; after completion of the project, these people will go to other projects or back to the original functions in their organizations (Levy, 1994).

  • After the design package has been checked and audited, the Design Manager distributes the review submittal package via Document Control to all applicable reviewers along with a Review Comment Summary and Resolution form (Form RCSR), see Section 4.6.1.2 below. The review package transmittal letter specifies the date the comments are due and the date of the Comment Resolution Meeting. 10 business days are allowed for each Preliminary Design Submittal review and 10 business days are allowed for the Final Design Submittal review.

  • The Final Design submittal package is prepared when the design for a given element or area is 100% complete. The submittal may include plan sheets, specifications, technical memos, reports, calculations, and other pertinent data, as applicable. The submittal shall include Form RCSR resulting from the Preliminary Design Submittal. As a result of the on-going discussion and resolution of design and construction issues via the regularly scheduled Task Force Meetings, Core Meetings, and informal reviews, it is anticipated that there will be very few revisions or changes at this stage.

Member authorities were also asked questions regarding the usage of credit ratings and/or references to credit rating agencies (or, in either case, related terms) 3 in their LRSPs, including an explanation of what each LRSP was designed to accomplish and the purpose of using credit ratings in the LRSP.

  • Once the SRS has been approved, implementation begins. Programming teams have many options: The programmers can simply start building the code and create the objects and user interface elements. Designers can build a user interface prototype to demonstrate to the users, stakeholders and the rest of the team. Any code used to develop the prototype is typically thrown away once the design has been finalized. Pictures, flow charts, data flow diagrams, database design diagrams and other visual tools can be used to determine aspects of the design and architecture.
