Excavations in the Krông Nô volcanic cave have given a standard stratigraphy of the prehistoric cultural process of the middle Holocene period, providing a lot of documentary information about the prehistoric human habitation patterns: through the remains of kitchen fire pit; strategies to exploit food sources through traces of hunting-gathering; cultural behavior of people through the technique of making and using tools; spiritual culture of people through funeral rites and other vestiges of activities.

With the increasing amount of waste generation from different processes, there has been a growing interest in the use of waste in producing sustainable building materials to achieve potential benefits. This study investigated the influence of waste polypropylene carpet fibers and palm oil fuel ash (POFA) on the microstructure and residual properties of concrete composites exposed to elevated temperatures. Four mixes containing carpet fibers (0% and 0.5%) and POFA (0% and 20%) were prepared. The specimens were exposed to high temperatures (200, 400, 600 and 800 C) for 1 h.

One advantage of conducting after-hours building walk-throughs to collect data on office equipment power status is that more buildings can be surveyed with a given amount of time and money. On the other hand, the data collected represents a snapshot in time, and does not capture variations in user behavior over time, which would require automated long-term time series metering of equipment power state and power levels. This is our most robust sample of buildings to date for collecting data on the after hours power status of office equipment.
