Climate change and pollution are big problems all over the world, not just in one country. Because of this, countries are starting to focus more on protecting the environment and finding ways to grow their economies in a “green” and sustainable way. As one of these countries, Vietnam is using special bonds called green bonds to help fund projects that protect the environment. This is a critical effective tool for mobilizing capital to attract investment capital from domestic and foreign investors for sustainable environmental protection projects in Vietnam.

An increase in human capital for the host country means that fewer people will fall under the poverty line and fewer will suffer from hunger. An increase in human capital can also increase the health and wellbeing of citizens. By analyzing the evident benefits of Green FDI for host countries that promoting for increasingly seeking more green investors, authors would like to suggest some recommendations for Vietnamese governments to become attractive destinations for sustainable investment.

"The investigation of hot-hand fallacy and gambler’s fallacy in foreign exchange markets" using high frequency foreign exchange market data adopted from the Electronic Brokerage Service (EBS) platform, we explore whether a sequence of continuous trades and reversal trades bring judgment errors associated with processing information from random sequences for institutional investors. We find that, in keeping with hot-hand fallacy, longer spans lead to greater expectations for a continuation.

The prime objective of the current study is to investigate the relationship between supplier social responsibility, quality costing and supply chain performance of firms in the Indonesian rubber industry. The research focuses on the Indonesian rubber industry, which is attracting the foreign investors recently. This has resulted in the entrance of several manufacturers in the Indonesian markets. The research paper examines the potential implications of the Global Minimum Tax on the tax regime and investment landscape in Vietnam. The study surveyed large-scale FDI companies in Vietnam and revealed the utmost concern of foreign investors on the potential application of Pillar 2 in Vietnam, which is about the prevailing incentive schemes being left inefficient. As a result, FDI attraction competitiveness might be undermined in certain aspects.

Previous studies examining the relationship of foreign investors and form performance produced inconclusive finding. These studies assumed that a linear relation exists between foreign shareholdings and firm performances. This study examines the relationship between foreign ownership and firm performance of trading and services listed firms in Malaysia. The research utilizes the agency theory and uses ROA and Tobin’s Q as the firm performance indicator. Foreign shareholdings had been identified as the predictor variables and firm size and leverage are the controlled variables.

The paper aims to investigate the impact of ownership structure on the audit quality in Vietnam listed companies within a five-year period 2015-2019. The empirical results from Probit models and Feasible Generalised Least Squares method show that ownership by institutional and foreign investors have positive impact on listed firms’ audit quality while family and government ownership do not affect audit quality.

The author build and use the vector autoregressive model (VAR) to discover factors affecting the gold price in Vietnam and the impact of each factor. Data research used in this study were monthly data for the period December 2000 to December 2019, including 10 variables. The results show that the current gold price in Vietnam is mostly affected by its historical prices, and is also affected by four other factors: world gold price, investors’ expectations, foreign exchange rate, and M2 money supply.

Based on the data from a survey among foreign investors having investment interest in the Key Economic Zone of Central Vietnam, this study examines perceived benefits to investors brought forth by cooperation in FDI attraction among local governments in the context of FDI competition. Findings imply that the cooperation is perceived to be more beneficial to investors than competition.
