FTIR spectroscopic characterization

In order to that, we fabricated MoS2 by utilizing a hydrothermal method for adsorption of tartrazine. As-prepared sample was characterized by spectroscopic analysis methods (XRD, BET, FTIR and SEM). The adsorption isotherm and thermodynamic of tartrazine on MoS2 were investigated.

The synthesis and characterization of novel tetraalkylthio (SC6H13 or SC12H25) substituted µ-oxo silicon(IV) phthalocyanines (3a and 3b) and their µ-oxo derivatives (4a and 4b) were described in this study. These silicon(IV) phthalocyanines were characterized using different spectroscopic techniques such as UV-Vis, 1H NMR, FTIR, and mass and elemental analysis, as well.

Protic ionic liquids (PILs) were synthesized through a stoichiometric neutralization reaction between 2,2′ - (ethylenedioxy)-bis(ethylamine) { Edbea} and various acids (formic, acetic, boric, decanoic, and gentisic acid). The PILs were characterized by elemental analyses, FTIR, 1 H and 13 C NMR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. All the PILs except PIL3 were liquid at room temperature. The viscosity of the PILs (PIL1, 2, 4, 5) was measured using a cone-and-plate viscometer at ambient temperature.

Ruthenium nanoparticles stabilized by a hydrotalcite framework (Ru/HTaL) were prepared by following a 2-step procedure comprising a wet-impregnation of ruthenium(III) chloride precatalyst on the surface of HTaL followed by an ammonia-borane (NH3 BH3) reduction of precatalyst on the HTaL surface all at room temperature. The characterization of Ru/HTaL was done by using various spectroscopic and visualization methods including ICP-OES, P-XRD, FTIR, 11 B NMR, XPS, BFTEM, and HRTEM.

A series of 1-(4-(2-allylphenoxy)butyl)piperidin-1-ium halides (4a-d) was synthesized and characterized via spectroscopic methods (FTIR, 1H NMR). The corrosion inhibition of the synthesized halides on carbon steel in water-salt-hydrocarbon environment, saturated with H2S, was investigated. For this purpose, a series of techniques such as gravimetric measurement, potentiodynamic polarisation, and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used and some thermodynamic parameters of corrosion process (∆Gads., ∆H0 ads., ∆S0ads.) were evaluated.

In the present investigation, some novel S-(5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)2-chloroethanethioate (3a–3e) derivatives were synthesized and their impact on optical properties was studied. They have also been characterized by elemental analysis and various spectroscopic methods including FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and UV-Vis techniques. The nonlinear refractive indexes of 3a–3e were also measured in dichloromethane via Z-scan method using a continuous wave diode-pumped laser at 532 nm wavelength. The nonlinear refractive coefficient of compounds was obtained from 1011 m2/W order.

In the present work, ZnO:Dy3 nanophosphors were synthesized by a simple, cost effective and ecofriendly route using the aqueous extract of Azadirachta Indica leaves. The prepared ZnO:Dy3 nanophosphors were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transformed Infra-Red (FTIR), Raman, UV-VIS diffuse reflectance (UVDR) spectroscopy and Photoluminescence (PL), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX).
