Function layout plan

The challenge of the analysis is to apprehend how the socio-spatial transformations of the city of Sobral occurred, from the planning actions of the public power, at different times, its determinants in the urban territorial configuration, evidenced in the forms, contained in the architecture of the buildings, in the layout the streets, the technical objects and the expansion axes of the city, each with a pre-established function.

The research carried out in the Ho Chi Minh city, from September 2016 to January 2017, aimed to green infrastructure planning, environmental restoration for apartment park, giving green space for citizens. It was conducted with some methods as: site analysis, find a function for the area, computer aided design and drafting base on main idea.

Relevant floor plans can be generated before planning the layout of furniture pieces. Recently, Merrell et al. [2010] proposed a data- driven method to generate residential building layouts. In their work, 120 examples of architectural programs are used to train a Bayesian network that captures the relationships among different rooms. Given certain user requirements as priors, the Bayesian net- work can then be used to generate a floor plan, which is iteratively modified to incorporate desirable human factors. The result is a synthesized floor plan for a residential building.

Furniture layout design falls under the umbrella of space planning, a sub-field of interior design that deals with the allocation of spatial resources [Kilmer and Kilmer 1992; Kubba 2003; Pile 2007; Karlen 2009]. To identify guidelines for furniture layout we have consulted manuals on furniture layout [Talbott 1999;Ward 1999; Sharp 2008] and have interviewed four professional designers who specialize in arranging furniture. An effective furniture layout must address both functional and vi- sual criteria.
