Fuzzy set

In this paper, a membership function of the form S-function is applied to improve the quality of extracted linguistic summaries. Besides, the applied algorithm is parallelized to reduce running time. The experimental results with the creep dataset have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The rest of the paper is organized as follows: In the next section, we recall the concept of picture fuzzy set and several operators of two picture fuzzy sets. We then propose a new MCDM method using the dissimilarity measure of picture fuzzy sets. Finally, we apply the proposed method for evaluating water reuse applications.

The score function is used to compare intutionistic fuzzy numbers. In this paper, a novel score function of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) is investigated. The novel score function was constructed by combining the polynomial and exponential functions working on the degree of membership and degree of non-membership of intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

The paper is organized as follows: Section 2 provides the preliminaries, which include the fundamental definitions of the M-CFIS model, CFTL, and tree. In this paper, we present a definition of fuzzy multivalued dependencies in fuzzy databases with linguistic data based on similarity relation which is built by partitioning the domain of attribute values corresponding to an appropriate hedge algebra. Some properties of fuzzy multivalued dependencies are studied. This paper proposes a method for mining fuzzy association rules using compressed database. We also use the approach of Hedge Algebra (HA) to build the membership function for attributes instead of using the normal way of fuzzy set theory. This approach allows us to explore fuzzy association rules through a relatively simple algorithm which is faster in terms of time, but it still brings association rules which are as good as the classical algorithms for mining association rules.
