Nghiên cứu này nhằm mục đích tối ưu hóa điều kiện chiết polyphenol có hoạt tính chống oxy hóa từ loài rong đỏ Gracilaria salicornia (G. salicornia) với sự hỗ trợ của siêu âm bằng phương pháp bề mặt đáp ứng theo mô hình Box-Behnken. Các yếu tố được chọn để khảo sát sự ảnh hưởng đến hàm lượng polyphenol có hoạt tính chống oxy hóa của rong đỏ G. salicornia trong quá trình chiết bao gồm: Nhiệt độ chiết, thời gian chiết và tỉ lệ nguyên liệu/dung môi, với nước được chọn là dung môi chiết.

Manamelkudi, located along the Palk Strait of East coast of Tamil Nadu serve as treasure houses for valuable marine resources like sea grass and seaweeds.
