Herein, a performance analysis of La-doped copper-based catalysts (CuO/ZrO2 /La-Al2 O3 ) in methanol steam reforming (MSR) was conducted and compared with a commercial low temperature water-gas shift catalyst (HiFUEL W220) to produce H2 with low CO selectivity. The physicochemical properties of as-obtained catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption, XRD, and ICP-OES. Effect of calcination temperature (750 ℃ and 1000 ℃) on the properties of mixed oxide support (La-Al2 O3 ) were discussed based on catalytic activity.

For the first time, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) was produced in gas phase process with a new fluidized bed concept where the solids are dispersed phase and the gas is bulk phase as opposed to conventional fluidized bed reactors (FBRs). With this concept, UHMWPE with average molecular weights about 1-6,9 × 10 6 g moles −1 were produced with a commercial supported Ziegler-Natta catalyst by using a gas phase mini semibatch reactor system.

The total emissions from open rice straw burning in Quang Ninh district by using research results of Gadde B et al 2009 have similar values by using the ABC EIM guidelines on case of average emissions. Utilizations of rice straw to produce microbiological organic compost is suitable practices that need to study to reduce rice straw open burning activity in the next time.

An investigation was carried out to isolate bacterial endophytes from small millets that have the ability to produce phytohormones like indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), gibberellic acid (GA), cytokinin and1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate (ACC) deaminase. Thirty two bacterial endophytes are isolated from small millets and among thirty two isolates, twenty isolates produced indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) in the range of 96.70 μg to 254.95 μg and the isolate KMS1 produced significantly highest concentration of IAA (254.95 μg) followed by FMR3 (231.87μg).

Several plants serve as the source of therapeutic agents but the properties depend on the plant nature. Thus, an evaluation of antioxidant activity is essential to determine the importance of a plant.
