This collection focuses on the ways in which federalism has affected and been affected by economic reform, especially global integration. The editors and contributors focus in particular on the political economy of institutional and economic change - how the division of authority between national and subnational governments shapes debates over policy changes, as well as how the changing economic environment creates incentives to modify the basic agreements between levels of governments.

The article is devoted to the cooperation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan in the sphere of security in the period from 2000 to 2017. It explores the relations of the two states in the political and military-technical spheres in the context of Eurasian integration processes. Some economic, cultural and humanitarian aspects of cooperation are also considered, complementing the security policy with elements of "soft power". The purpose of the study is to evaluate the impact of foreign direct investment, spillover effects on the productivity of the manufacturing industry in Vietnam. Using 34,838 manufacturing enterprises in the period 2002 to 2012, the research results show that the firm with a higher foreign ownership is consistent with the higher productivity.

This study examines the effect of globalization and tax competition on tax revenue in Southeast Asian countries. Figures show the sign of tax competition in Southeast Asian countries. We evaluate the effects of tax competition on tax revenues of Southeast Asian countries with the globalization KOF index.
