The aim of the study was to document case studies of dairy based farmer producer companies in Kerala. The present study was purposively conducted in Kerala state. Locationally Kerala divided into three zones namely southern, central and northern. In all the zones there were 11 animal based farmer producer companies working. Among them 5 dairy based farmer producer companies were selected purposively i.e. one from northern, two from central and two from southern region.

The Mali Economic Management Credit supports the government’s efforts to improve women’s access to land and financial services. It has facilitated the preparation of an action plan that was included in the overall financial sector action plan approved in 1998, which resulted in budget support for women’s income-generation activities. The operation has also facilitated and increased women’s access to land in the Office du Niger region; and raised public awareness of women’s legal rights and the benefits of women’s participation in the develop- ment process.

The Government of Myanmar has formed an Emergency Committee and announced that the priorities of its relief operations are to provide adequate food, safe drinking-water and shelter to the affected people. Health issues are of major concern in districts affected by the cyclone. The WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia and the WHO Country Office in Myanmar are actively involved in the response. A crisis room has been activated in the WHO Country Office in Yangon.
