In this work, the cyclic expansion-extrusion (CEE) process for aluminum alloy AA6061 is due to its wide industrial applications. First, The CEE process is performed to create a fine stable grain size for the studied alloy. The microhardness of the deformed samples was determined to evaluate the effect of the CEE process on the mechanical properties of the alloy.

A study of the electrodeposition of silver from 2 different types of electrolytes; (1) neutral pyrophosphatecyanide electrolyte and (2) alkaline high concentrated cyanide electrolyte in the presence of a variety of additives such as 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, potassium selenocyanate, and potassium antimony tartrate was performed. Influence of additives and cyanide concentration on microstructure and kinetics of the cathodic processes were studied.

We report on a controlled process of atomic-scale material design based on calcination-temperatureinduced structural variation and its influence on capacitive energy storage characteristics of spinelstructured NiCo2O4 rods (NCOR). Precisely, morphology-tuned NCOR were grown through a facile solvothermal process followed by a controlled calcination.

A field experiment was conducted to investigate that the refined technology of effect of chemical control for the management of barley aphid (Rhopalosiphum maidis) on the yield attributes of barley in Hanumangarh District of Rajasthan. Result showed that the refined technology of T2: Spray of Thiomethoxam 25 WG @ 0.5 gm per litre of water highest average grain yield was recorded (35.85 qtl per ha), highest average net returns (Rs. 21,898 per ha) and highest average B: C ratio (2.29) was recorded as compared to T1 and farmers practice.

A sharp 120o Equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) was applied at room temperature to refine the grains sizes of pure copper and copper - 1% Chromium alloy for spot welding electrode tips application. Initially deformation behavior was investigated with the position using colorful plasticine as work piece followed by copper alloy. It was found the deformation at the central part of the work piece is heavily sheared than the outer part.

In order to refine the fertiliser prescription equation for hybrid maize on an Inceptisol (Periyenackampalayam soil series- Vertic Ustropept), a field experiment was conducted at farmer’s holding of Allapalayam village, Annur block, Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu in Western Zone of Tamil Nadu during Rabi 2015-16. Basic parameters were calculated from the data generated from the field experiment.
