In the present work, CeO2 with different loading was embedded on reduced graphene oxide (rGO) by a simple one-pot hydrothermal method. The synthesized samples were characterized using XRD, EDX mapping, FESEM, and UV-Vis DRS techniques.

In this study, graphene oxide (GO) was prepared by the Hummers method. GO/CS/PVA fibers were prepared by an electrospinning method. The structure, morphology and size of the electrospun materials were characterized by X – ray diffraction (XRD) and a scanning electron microscope (SEM).

The graphene-based sponge showed remarkable adsorption performance toward oils and organic solvents with the adsorption capacity ranging from 40 to 70 folds of sponge’s weight. The sponge also exhibited high recyclability, which is considered as a promising material for the practical application.

Graphene-based electrode materials exhibit a high specific capacitance and long charge-discharge cycling life, but the material cost remains high because of the complexity of the graphene manufacturing process. This study employed an electrochemical exfoliation method to prepare graphene in a simple and ecologically friendly procedure. According to research findings, the disordered multi-layer structure of graphene exhibited great purity, porosity, and graphitization.

TiO2-Graphene Oxide-Hemin (TiO2/GO/Hemin) ternary composite hybrid material was prepared by the sol-gel method and used as a heterogeneous catalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of organic contaminants.
