This article contributes to the related literature in several ways. Firstly, the present study expands understanding by examining the dynamic co-movements between cryptocurrencies and green financial instruments within the context of sustainable finance. Prior studies have concentrated on traditional cryptocurrencies, which is consistent with increased environmental and financial concerns in the presence of particular and ambiguous shocks—that is, the pandemic and the Ukraine invasion.

It is currently the imperative global trend due to its balance of economics, society, and environment. However, the green movement in Vietnam is still at the initial stage of its development.

The onset of economic globalization by the end of the 20th century foisted progressively new modes of collaboration on most of the American social movements. New Social Movements (NSMs) such as the environmental movement, the environmental justice movement, and the labour unions, were propelled into rapprochement that soon gave rise to new forms of coalition dubbed the blue-green/the blue-green-brown alliances.

The feedback from oil prices to economic activity is captured by a reduced-form production function that allows us to separately specify shocks to the output gap (transitory shocks to output), shocks to potential output (permanent shocks to the level of output), and shocks to potential output growth (permanent shocks to the growth rate of output). The richness of this specification helps us to model the complicated interactions of oil price movements and GDP, where both trend and gap decline if oil prices increase.

An integrated approach among the local, State, and Federal Government provides for a logical clearinghouse for intelligence on the movement and activities of terrorist groups and the collection, interpretation, and dissemination of that information to the proper enforcement agencies. Effective planning and intelligence gathering can lessen the likelihood of a surprise emergency incident, which, improperly handled, can make or break a department and its administrators at all levels of government.

Traditional Supply Chain Management (SCM) aims at movement of goods and services from one end of this chain to the other through different stages so as to improve the efficiency, productivity and profitability of the entire process. As SCM spans across the economic functions of the entire value chain of a product or service, it is vital for a company to join in, form, or coordinate its business related supply chains, forming various kinds of business relationships.

I n 1962, a book invited its readers to imagine an American town “where all life seemed to live in harmony with its surroundings . . . The town lay in the midst of a checkerboard of prosperous farms, with fields of grain and hillsides of orchards, where, in spring white clouds of bloom drifted above the green fields. In autumn, oak and maple and birch set up a blaze of color that flamed and flickered across a backdrop of pines.”1

The authors and publisher are pleased to present the twentyeighth edition of Harper’s Illustrated Biochemistry. This edition features for the first time multiple color images, many entirely new, that vividly emphasize the ever-increasing complexity of biochemical knowledge. The cover picture of green fluorescent protein (GFP), which recognizes the award of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Chemistry to Martin Chalfie, Roger Y. Tsien, and Osamu Shimomura, reflects the book’s emphasis on new developments.

Ian and Jane Campbell of Barambah Organics near Murgon in Queensland produce, process and market certified organic milk. Their movement into organic production was born from a long family interest in sustainable agriculture and the need to create a point of difference for their products. “Customers are often surprised by the unique taste of our milk. It comes from a balanced and healthy diet for the cows on our chemical-free broadacre pastures,” said Ian. Soil health and weed control are important considerations and are carefully managed with compost manures and lime.

Marx, it is often assumed, cared only about industrial growth and the development of economic forces. John Bellamy Foster examines Marx's neglected writings on capitalist agriculture and soil ecology, philosophical naturalism, and evolutionary theory. He shows that Marx, known as a powerful critic of capitalist society, was also deeply concerned with the changing human relationship to nature. Marx's Ecology covers many other thinkers, including Epicurus, Charles Darwin, Thomas Malthus, Ludwig Feuerbach, P. J. Proudhon, and William Paley.

Because American ecocriticism, as a movement, is only about a dozen years old, generalizations about it are hard to make and still harder to validate.1 So I want to begin, not by describing the principles and practices of ecocriticism in any detail (in fact, that is something I want to delay, especially as regards the practices, until chapter four), but by looking at what seems to be, for many of its adherents, ecocriticism’s moment of origin, which is threefold in its implications.

Through the efforts of a wide array of public and private organizations around the globe, a strong and growing movement is beginning the process of transforming the systems that create the built environment from ones that pay no attention to resources and the environment to a new variety in which these considerations are the pre-eminent criteria for “good” construction. Although dating back only to the early 1990s, there is already ample evidence that the “green building” movement is affecting the design, construction, operation, and disposal of the built environment....

Green projects - particularly sustainable energy sources and clean technology - include multiple technologies, at different stages of maturity, and require different types of financing vehicle. Most pension funds are more interested in lower risk investments which provide a steady, inflation adjusted income stream - with green bonds consequently gaining interest as an asset class, particularly - though not only - with the SRI universe of institutional investors.
