A Hybrid Spline Difference Method is developed to solve a nonlinear equation of welding problem in ultrasonic welding. It is shown that the method has a computational procedure as simply as the finite difference method. In addition, the proposed method can simplify complexity of the traditional spline method calculation, and increase accuracy of the first and second derivatives of space from O(Tx 2 ) of finite difference method to O(Tx 4 ).

The effect of mass flow rate, volume concentration inlet temperature on heat transfer rate with varied coolant mass flow rate ranging from 6LPM, 8LPM, 10LPM were examined. Results shows that heat transfer rate linearly increases with increase in mass flow rate and volume concentration, the best heat transfer rate is achieved at 0.3% volume fraction of CuO at 10LPM. A maximum enhancement of 35% in heat transfer rate is obtained for 0.3% concentration of CuO nanofluid.

The convective heat transfer coefficient was improved up to 23.84% by using TiO2 nanofluids instead of the base fluid. It was found that TiO2 nanofluid with a volume fraction of 0.3% (at a mass flow rate of 0.0689 kg/s) will provide the maximum efficiency enhancement in the PTSC (9.66% higher than the water-based collector). Consequently, the absorbed energy parameter was found to be 10.3% greater than that of the base fluid.

Effect of filling ratio on heat trasfer performance in multi-heat pipe with graphene oxide nanofluid
This experimental study is performed to investigate heat transfer performance of a multi-heat pipe cooling device in the condition of different filling ratio (40%, 60%, 80% and 100%) under constant heat flux conditions. Here, pure water and graphene oxide (GO) nanofluid are employed as working fluid. Temperature fields and thermal resistance are measured for different filling ratio, heat fluxes and volume concentrations.

The thermal performance of a single pass solar air heater with five fins attached was investigated experimentally. Longitudinal fins were used inferior the absorber plate to increase the heat exchange and render the flow fluid in the channel uniform. The primary theme of this communication is to employ convective condition of mass transfer in the theory of peristalsis. The magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) peristaltic transport of viscous liquid in an asymmetric channel was considered for this purpose. Effects of Ohmic heating and Soret and Dufour are presented.
