This research aimed to evaluate the subchronic toxicity of Diabetna capsules through oral administration in experimental animals. Our result showed that Diabetna capsules had no deleterious effect on hematological parameters, hepato-renal functions, macroscopic and microscopic images of the livers and kidneys of Wistar rats.

Nervous system toxicity (NST) is one of the most frequent and dangerous side effects of chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy, which is an effective treatment for related tumors in most relapsed/refractory (r/r) hematologic malignancies. Current clinical trial data do not fully reflect the real-world situation. Therefore, this study evaluated the NST of CAR-T therapy using the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS).

Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) is used to treat immunodeficiency conditions, neuro-immunological, infection-related, autoimmune, and inflammatory disorders and is typically well tolerated. A hematological adverse reaction such as hemolytic anemia and neutropenia is known to occur with IVIG, which is usually transient and subclinical.

The present study evaluated the effects of topical administration of KEM CON ONG and KEM TRI BONG creams on doxorubicin-induced skin ulcer, and their systemic toxicity in ulcerated rats. The skin lesions were induced by a single intradermal injection of 0.2ml doxorubicin 1 mg/0.5ml on the dorsal region. The ulcerated areas were covered topically with dimethyl sulfoxide, KEM CON ONG, or KEM TRI BONG twice a day for 28 days.

It has recently become obvious that the prevalence of adults with diagnosed liver diseases has been rapidly increasing in Vietnam, as well as other countries, over the past two decades. There has been a current trend for researchers to discover new natural ingredients which were safe and still effective in the treatment of liver diseases.

Ropivacaine oil delivery depot (RODD) can be used to treat postoperative incision pain. The aim was to study pharmacodynamics, toxicity and toxicokinetics of RODD. Methods: The base research of RODD were conducted. Thirty rabbits were randomly divided into saline, solvent, ropivacaine aqueous injection (RAI) 0.9 mg, RODD 0.9 mg and RODD 3 mg groups. The sciatic nerve of rabbits were isolated, dripped with RODD and the effect of nerve block were observed.

In cervical cancer patients with intermediate-risk factors, the optimal adjuvant therapy is still controversial. We undertook a randomized trial (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT01418859) to compare the efficacy and toxicity of concurrent chemoradiotherapy with topotecan and cisplatin with radiotherapy alone in intermediate-risk cervical cancer patients.

TAS-102 (trifluridine and tipiracil hydrochloride; a novel combination oral nucleoside anti-tumor agent) has recently received regulatory approval for patients with refractory metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). Internal review of data at a single-institution showed a trend towards better overall survival (OS) for patients who experienced chemotherapy-induced neutropenia at 1-month (CIN-1-month).
