Historical imitation

As a challenge and a “trial” in the sphere of thoughts and art, it is not easy to make a general assessment of Nguyen Huy Thiep’s works on historical issues due to many different viewpoints and explanations. However, we cannot omit his works, when discussing the “literary and artistic creations on historical topics” in the đổi mới, or renovation, period.
