The cotyledons are suitable materials to create multiple shoot for GmCHI transgenic T. paniculatum when using the MS medium supplemented with kinetin. The addition of 2.0 mg/l of BAP gave a higher multi-shooting effect than the addition of 1.5 mg/l of kinetin or the combination of 1.5 mg/l of kinetin with 0.8 mg/l of IBA. Using 0.5mg/l IAA had better rooting ability than combining 0.5mg/l IAA with kinetin.

A lab experiment was carried out in Dept. of Plant Biotechnology, MGM College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Aurangabad to study effect of different concentrations of IBA in combination with BA on Biomass production of Bacopa monnieri (Brahmi) under in vitro condition. The experiment was laid out in completely randomized block design with five treatments of IBA (0.00, 0.25, 0.30, 0.35, 0.40 µM) with constant BA (1.1µM) MS basal medium on nodal segment of Brahmi.

An experiment was employed to identify the suitable rooting hormone and a potential hardening medium for gerbera micropropagation techniques. IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) and GA3 (Gibbrelic Acid) are taken for the study of rooting and Sand, Cocopeat, Vermicompost and Vermiculite selected alone or in combinations for the study of hardening in gerbera. Different parameters on root induction were taken similarly morphological and biochemical parameters were studies in hardend plants of gerbera.

The shoots in vitro were transferred to half-strength MS supplemented with different concentrations of IAA, IBA and NAA to investigate root formation. The best rooting occurred at 0,5 mg/L NAA (7.91 roots/shoot; root length of 4.01 cm; 98.51% root formation). The plantlets with uniform growth were planted on different substrate: Eco clean soil, Coconut fiber, Fern fiber, 50% Rice husk in combination with 50% Eco clean soil for research the most suitable substrate.

The present investigation was carried out at Research Farm, Division of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, SKUAST-Kashmir, Shalimar, Srinagar, J&K (India) during the year 2010 to evaluate the effect of two growth regulators IBA and NAA @ 500, 1000, 1500 ppm in comparison to control (without any growth regulator treatment) and growing medium combinations (sand 100%, sand 85% + manure 15%, sand 70% + manure 30%, sand 70% + manure 15% + soil 15%, sand 85% + soil 15%) on the rooting of three rootstocks of rose (Rosa indica, Rosa banksiae and Rosa bourboniana).

Five maize lines prevalently used by breeders in the maize program were screened for their ability to form type II callus. Mature seeds were used as explant for in vitro culturing. One inbred line showed high embryogenic response and formed friable, type II calli and also exhibited successful plant regeneration. Ten culture media compositions based on Murashige and Skoog (1962) salts thus investigated differed with respect to the combinations of concentrations of auxins (IBA, NAA, picloram, 2, 4-D) and cytokinins (BAP, kinetin) were used.

Present investigation was carried out to determine the optimum level of different plant growth regulators for rapid shoot multiplication, rooting and hardening of micropropagated plantlets of Aloe vera. The experiment was laid out using completely randomized design (CRD) with ten replications during 2018-19. Auxiliary shoot explants were inoculated on MS medium supplemented with various concentrations of cytokinin (BAP 0.5 – 6.0 mg/l) alone and BAP (0.5-6.0 mg/l) with auxin (NAA 0.1 – 0.6) in combination for direct shoot bud proliferation.

The present investigation entitled “Effect of different potting media on survival and growth of air layered litchi cv. Dehradun” was carried out at the Advanced Centre for Horticulture Research, Udheywalla, SKUAST-Jammu during 2018-19. Different potting media (litchi orchard soil, sand, FYM, sawdust, vermicompost, rhizobacteria, cocopeat, perlite, neem cake and vermiculite) were used in combination with application of 500 ppm IBA.

An in vitro protocol for plant regeneration through organogenesis was established for Picrorhiza kurroa Royle Ex. Benth (Scrophulairaceae). The plant is a principle source of glycoside that is Picroside-I, Picroside-II and Kutkoside. Callus was induced on Murashige and Skoog basal medium supplemented with cytokinin (Kn or BA) and auxin (2,4-D/IBA/NAA) using leaf, petiole and stem explants. The present study develops a protocol for rapid in vitro micropropagation of a critically endangered and floriculturally most important epiphytic orchid, Dendrobium primulinum Lindl. through the culture of small shoot tip explants (0.3 to 0.5mm) derived from in vitro grown seedlings. The shoot tip explants cultured on solidified Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal medium and MS medium alone or supplemented with combination of various concentrations of growth regulators; α-naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and 6 benzylaminopurine (BAP), produced shoots and multiple shoots.

This study reports, for the first time, an efficient in vitro plant regeneration protocol for Digitalis lamarckii Ivan. Via direct shoot organogenesis. Two sets of experiments were carried out; the first compared different concentrations of 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP), kinetin, thidiazuron (TDZ), and zeatin alone using leaf explants excised from in vitro germinated seedlings, while the second set tested the combinations of indole-3-butyric acid (IBA).

This study was designed to micropropagate Vaccinium myrtillus L., a naturally growing bilberry, in the Turkish flora. In order to determine the most effective basal medium, lateral buds were initially selected as explants, which were then individually cultured in Murashige and Skoog medium, Anderson’s rhododendron medium, and McCown’s woody plant medium (WPM) supplemented with 1.0 mg L–1 zeatin in combination with either 0.1 mg L–1 indole-3-butyric acid (IBA).

The present investigation was conducted to study the effects of auxin and cytokinin on callus induction from leaf blade, nodal, and runner segments of 3 strawberry clones. Among the 32 media combinations tested, 4.0 mg/L NAA + 1.5 mg/L IBA yielded the highest percentage of callus in all types of explants.
