In this current study, damage in three beam-like structures is identified by means of an improved version of the gapped smooth method, namely a curvature-based gapped smooth method. Only unhealthy data of structures are extracted to determine the developed index.

Structural elucidation of the isolated compounds was done using a combination of HR-ESI-MS, one-dimensional and two-dimensional NMR spectral methods, and comparison their spectral data with the previous literature.

The paper discusses the concept and problem of identifying DDoS attacks for information management. The main starting mechanisms and types of DDoS attacks are analyzed. To identify them, signature and behavioral methods of analyzing network traffic are used. Analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of these methods actualized the need for their combined use.
