This study aimed to examine the joint effect of auditor’s auditing and training on reducing financial statements’ manipulation Iraqi companies listed in stock exchange. Specifically, this study focuses on the impact of internal training and auditing of internal audit staff on reduction of the rate of manipulation in earnings management practices as depicted by the discretionary accruals. The financial statements for 69 listed companies in the Iraqi Stock Exchange were analyzed in this study in order to achieve these objectives for the period of 2012-2015.

Study "Do ecological factors determine nationwide performance of supply chain? Evidence from Thailand" aims to investigate the impact of ecological factors; GDP growth rate (GGR), degree of openness (DOO), exchange rate (EXR) and balance of payment (BOP) on foreign direct investment (FDI). Study also examines the effect of FDI on the performance of nationwide supply chain (NSCP). Moreover, study examines mediating role of FDI on the relationship between GGR, DOO, EXR and BOP.

The objective of this study is to investigate the role of macroeconomic factors in the supply chain. “Therefore, this study examined the role of GDP growth rate, the degree of openess, the rate of exchange and balance of payment effect on foreign direct investment (FDI) and FDI effect on the supply chain. In this study, data were collected from Indonesian economists. Email addresses of Indonesian economists were collected and email was sent to them to get responses. Only one hundred email addresses were found of various economists.

The author build and use the vector autoregressive model (VAR) to discover factors affecting the gold price in Vietnam and the impact of each factor. Data research used in this study were monthly data for the period December 2000 to December 2019, including 10 variables. The results show that the current gold price in Vietnam is mostly affected by its historical prices, and is also affected by four other factors: world gold price, investors’ expectations, foreign exchange rate, and M2 money supply.

This study will provide an insight about the exports of environmental products from Vietnam, the determinants impacting on the export performance and focus on the APEC list of environmental goods that is consisted of 54 commodities in 54 different 6 digit HS code. By using stochastic frontier gravity model for the panel data of top 20 partner countries and regions of Vietnam on environmental goods exports from 2001 to 2016, the estimated results illustrate that GDP of partners nations, participating in the ASEAN and exchange rate have positive impacts on the exports of Vietnam.

The ketalization reaction of glycerol with acetone for solketal formation was performed using a gel-type ion exchange resin, Indion 225H in a solvent-free medium. The experimental parameters molar ratio, catalyst loading, rate of stirring, and temperature were analyzed and evaluated for their impact on the conversion of glycerol. A kinetic model based on the Langmuir–Hinshelwood–Hougen– Watson (LHHW) equation described the kinetics of the heterogeneous system.

The study was conducted with the objective of examining the impact of real effective exchange rate volatility on trade balance in Vietnam during the period of 2002 - 2019 at the quarterly frequency. The VAR model was used to achieve the proposed research objective. Proceeding from the data collected from 80 listed companies in the Vietnam stock exchange in the period of 2007-2017, we used a quantitative method to demonstrate the negative impact of modified audit opinion on the cost of debt. When companies receive a modified opinion, they have to pay higher interest rates and have a shorter maturity.

This paper investigates several key challenges faced by oil-rich countries regarding their economic growth and development. First, it discusses how to determine currency overvaluation for these countries (if any). To determine the overvaluation, the real exchange rate (RER) is calculated and the Balassa–Samuelson effect is estimated via a regression model. Next, the study presents an empirical model for assessing the impact of oil rent on economic growth in the context of currency overvaluation and the institutional quality in every country.
