Implementation methods

This study examines the implementation of the case study method in teaching National Defense - Security Education in Ho Chi Minh City high schools. A survey of 50 teachers and 200 students from three high schools reveals that while the case study method has been introduced, its application remains limited, with an average score of 3.19.

The research "Solving constrained optimization tasks in civil engineering using εDifferential Evolution developed with Visual C#. NET" work aims at constructing an evolutionary algorithm based approach for solving complex constrained optimization tasks. The  -Differential Evolution (  -DE) proposed by Takahama, et al. [1], is selected as the employed evolutionary approach. The  -DE has been proven to be capable optimizer for tackling sophisticated problems in various engineering field. In this study, this optimization method is developed in Visual C#.

Designing cantilever retaining walls is an important task in various construction projects. The study "Optimizing cantilever retaining wall design using feasibility rule-based evolutionary algorithm developed with Visual C# .NET" aims at constructing an evolutionary-algorithm-based cantilever retaining wall design approach. Differential Evolution (DE) and the feasibility rule-based constraint-handling (FRBCH) method are integrated to achieve the research objective. A DE based software program incorporating FRBCH has been developed with Visual C# .NET to facilitate its implementation.

This article focuses on the social judgment theory and its application to examine consumer reactions to businesses. For businesses that apply green marketing strategies in their operations, consumer judgment has different characteristics, which moderates and alters the intention and behaviour of consuming green products. This study applied the documentary method, combining synthesis and evaluation to reveal that consumers often have psychological judgments about the reality of businesses that are implementing a sustainable development strategy.

The thesis studied the development and implementation of the conceptual Continuous Improvement Teamworking (CIT) Model for strategic performance improvement in retail banking operations. The investigation using of a dominant qualitative to a Less-dominant quantitative approach as a mixed-method strategy revealed the importance of the CIT Model realised through the CTIO (Concern-Task-Interaction-Outcome) Problem-Solving Cycle. This research aims to extend the understanding of contingency theory and the factors influencing Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and Activity-Based Budgeting (ABB) system implementation in developing economies. Using qualitative case-based methods, the unique features of ABC/ABB implementation in three large Thai companies from telecommunications, banking and oil industries were investigated. Interviews were conducted with key personnel involved with the implementation process. The Telecommunications Company and Bank implemented ABC and the Oil Company implemented ABB.

: Fluid vents in the Sea of Marmara were discovered and investigated by several studies. In this paper, a numerical model is created for the first time to determine the possible transport mechanism behind those fluid emissions at the seafloor. The finite volume method is used for numerical simulations by implementing a commercial finite volume code, ANSYS-Fluent. The thermal and physical rock properties used in our models are taken from previous studies.
