Vietnam’s young plastic industry plays an important role in economic development recently. Plastic recycling (PR) is necessary to help companies economically manage their input materials and reduce the amount of solid waste disposal in its surroundings. Improper management of PR activities causes some environmental pollution problems and greenhouse gases (GHGs) released from these activities are core concerns.

Water retting of whole jute (Corchorus olitorius L.) plant is convenient to the majority of farmers. Jute bundles are extensively retted in isolated stagnant inland freshwater bodies, often having insufficient water, during the months of August–October in the Indo-Bangla subcontinent. It leads to transportation expense, improper retting with low fibre quality, complete loss of huge organic retting residue and transitory deterioration of the aquatic environment affecting local ecology.

To Lich River is well-known as a main drainage river and plays a vital role to the landscape distribution of Ha Noi city, which is currently polluted due to improperly untreated wastewater flow. Thanks to QUAL2K model, the variation of the river water quality has been forecasted by 4 particular scenarios. In the first scenario, the whole generated wastewater along To Lich River is not totally collected and treated. Scenario 2 is similar to scenario 1 except that To Lich River receives an addition of diluted water of 5 m 3 /s from Red River.

Although Green gram is the third important pulse crop, it only covers 3.77 million ha land and having a production of 1.52 million tons which is very low compared to other crops. The pulse is widely used as a protein source and fodder crop. Especially in case of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), the production characteristics are chaotic and hard to control. Anthelmintic drug resistant rising the major threat for the animal population. Benzimidazole group of anthelmintic drug are most popular and used drug in nematodal control strategy. High treatment frequency, single-drug regimens, targeting the mass treatments, under-dosing, improper use of anthelmintic, improper management, unguided and unaddressed policy of nematodal control leads to the resistant among the animal population which become main source of transferring and migrating the resistant to another. Selection pressure act majorly in escaping the treatment.

The present study was undertaken during Krishi Mahotsav programme to find out the reasons for less adoption of improved gram production technology among the farmers of Rehli block of bundelkhand region during the year 2014 and 2015. It is found that majority of the respondents (59.90%) had medium level of adoption, followed by those having low (24.56%) and high (15.54%) levels of adoption for the improved practices of chickpea cultivation. Results revealed that there were number of reasons for low adoption of improved chikpea production technology.

Biomedical waste has been one of the major headaches of any hospital. Eighty percent waste generated from the hospitals is general waste and the remaining twenty percent comes under the biomedical waste categories. If this waste is not properly managed, it is dangerous for people, animals and environment due to its high harmful potential. In the present investigation, aerobic bacteria like Escherichia coli (32%), Staphylococcus aureus (28%), and Bacillus spp. (10%) were isolated from the biomedical waste.

Chhattisgarh, the 26th state of the Indian Union came into existence on November 1st, 2000. In Chhattisgarh, maize is a kharif season crop and second most important crop next to paddy in terms of both area and production. The state has got very good potential for maize but the productivity is very low due to cultivation of open pollinated varieties (OPVs) and improper input management practices. The real potential can be realized by the adoption of hybrid maize especially single cross hybrids with full package of practices.

Dengue is a mosquito borne viral disease (Priyadarshini et al., 2016). It belongs to the family of Flavivirus. It is transmitted mainly by the bite of Aedes aegypti mosquito. Outbreaks are due to the four serotypes DEN1, DEN2, DEN3, DEN4. Increasing incidence and repeated outbreaks turns this disease as a serious public health problem (Barrera et al., 2002). Urbanization, improper water management and the vector population are the main causes for the spread of the disease. Ten most important causes were: (1) contractor’s improper planning, (2) contractor’s poor site management, (3) inadequate contractor experience, (4) inadequate client’s finance and payments for completed work, (5) problems with subcontractors, (6) shortage in material, (7) labor supply, (8) equipment availability and failure, (9) lack of communication between parties, and (10) mistakes during the construction stage.
