This study integrated bioinformatics and functional analysis to reveal the prognosis and potential functions of TLN1 in AML. The results showed that the expression level of TLN1 was abnormally increased in AML and localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm, and TLN1 is a significant prognostic indicator of overall survival (OS).

Stonin1 (STON1) is an endocytic protein but its role in cancer remains unclear. Here, we investigated the immune role of STON1 in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC). We undertook bioinformatics analyses of the expression and clinical significance of STON1 in KIRC through a series of public databases, and the role of STON1 in the tumor microenvironment and the predictive value for immunotherapy and targeted treatment in KIRC were identified with R packages.

Cuproptosis is a regulated cell death form associated with tumor progression, clinical outcomes, and immune response. However, the role of cuproptosis in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD) remains unclear. This study aims to investigate the implications of cuproptosis-related genes (CRGs) in PAAD by integrated bioinformatic methods and clinical validation.

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is one of the most aggressive malignant tumors. Chromobox (CBX) family plays the role of oncogenes in various malignancies. Methods The transcriptional and protein levels of CBX family were confirmed by GEPIA, Oncomine, CCLE, and HPA database. Screening of co-expressed genes and gene function enrichment analysis were performed by GeneMANIA and DAVID 6.8.

Colitis-associated colon cancer (CAC) patients have a younger age of onset, more multiple lesions and invasive tumors than sporadic colon cancer patients. Early detection of CAC using endoscopy is challenging, and the incidence of septal colon cancer remains high.

Allele-specific transcriptional regulation, including of imprinted genes, is essential for normal mammalian development. While the regulatory regions controlling imprinted genes are associated with DNA methylation (DNAme) and specific histone modifications, the interplay between transcription and these epigenetic marks at allelic resolution is typically not investigated genome-wide due to a lack of bioinformatic packages that can process and integrate multiple epigenomic datasets with allelic resolution.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play crucial roles in gene regulation at the transcriptional and posttranscriptional levels. LncRNAs are belonging to a large class of transcripts with ≥200 nt in length which do not code for proteins, have been widely investigated in various physiological and pathological contexts by highthroughput sequencing techniques and bioinformatics analysis.

Presently, with the increasing number and complexity of available gene expression datasets, the combination of data from multiple microarray studies addressing a similar biological question is gaining importance. The analysis and integration of multiple datasets are expected to yield more reliable and robust results since they are based on a larger number of samples and the effects of the individual study-specific biases are diminished.
