The composite electrolyte also showed one and half order magnitude higher ion conductivity than pure SDC electrolyte at measuring temperature ranges. Bismuth samarium oxide formed by reaction between Bi2O3 and SDC during sintering seems to enhance to electrical performance because it is known that it has superior ionic conductivity to SDC.

Nuclear reactions of proton by light nuclei at low energies play a key role in the study of nucleosynthesis which is of interest in nuclear astrophysics. The most fundamental process which is very necessary is the elastic scattering. In this work, we construct a microscopic proton-nucleus potential in order to describe the differential cross-sections over scattering angles of the proton elastic scattering by 12C and 13C in the range of available energies 14 - 22 MeV. The microscopic optical potential is based on the folding model using the effective nucleon-nucleon interaction CDM3Yn.

The network structure of zircon (ZrSiO4) in the amorphous and liquid states was investigated using molecular dynamics simulation and visualization. The short range order (SRO) and intermediate range order (IRO) characteristics were analyzed via distribution of units TOn and OTm (T=Zr, Si) linkages.

The change of short and intermediate range orders in a model of amorphous silica at 500 K in the 0-100 GPa pressure range is investigated using molecular dynamics simulation. The pressure dependence of the bond length, bond angle and coordination distribution is analysed in detail.

The Drosophila melanogaster multisubstrate deoxyribonucleoside kinase (dNK; EC 2.7.1.145) has a high turnover rate and a wide substrate range that makes it a very good candidate for gene therapy. This concept is based on introducing a suicide gene into malignant cells in order to activate a prodrug that eventually may kill the cell.

Pharmaceutical products covered in the Pharmaceutical Zero-for-Zero Initiative can be imported either as bulk active ingredients or in dosage forms that can be packaged for retail sale. Products in dosage form are generally classified under chapter 30 of the HTS, where most of the subheadings are duty-free. Many of the bulk pharmaceutical active ingredients and chemical intermediates are classified under HTS subheadings that also contain non-pharmaceutical products and have rates of duty ranging from 0 to 6.5 percent ad valorem.
