The effect of cow-urine and bio-fertilizers based fertigation schedule was studied at varying levels of drip irrigation on various cucumber parameters in a naturally ventilated polyhouse during summer season. A field experiment was conducted at Water Technology Centre, College farm, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad during kharif, 2015 to study the “Response of different varieties of aerobic rice (Oryza sativa l.) under drip fertigation levels.” The experiment was conducted with three main treatments and four sub treatments. Onion has very shallow root system that is frequently irrigated and fertilized with high fertilizer dose rates to maximize yield. Converting from furrow-fertigated to microsprinkler fertigated onion production may reduce fertilizer needs. The influence of fertigation sources and their levels, applied through microsprinkler irrigation on winter onion (Allium cepa L.) was evaluated for the years 2009-2011 under semi-arid region of India.

A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2016 at R&D farm of Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., Udumalpet with seven treatments comprising of two irrigation (100% and 150% ETc) and three fertigation levels (75%, 100% and 125% RDF) in addition, surface irrigation method as a check were arranged in randomized block design and replicated thrice. Rice was grown in sandy clay soil with pH and EC of 7.6 and 0.21 (dS m-1 ), respectively. A 115 day long variety ADT (R) 45 was used with spacing of 20x10cm. Fertilizers were applied @ 150:50:50 kg of N P2O5 K2O ha-1 .

A field experiment was conducted during 2015-16 at Agricultural Research Station, Mudhol, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad to evaluate different methods of irrigation to achieve higher target yield levels in sugarcane. The experiment was laid out in split plot design with 12 treatment combinations and three replications. Among the irrigation methods, subsurface (224 t ha-1 ) and surface drip irrigation (217 t ha-1 ) recorded significantly higher cane and sugar yield.

Irrigation and nutrients are most prerequisite factors for crop growth and development. Any imbalance in supply of water or nutrients may leads to poor crop performance and lower production. Therefore there is need to optimize irrigation and fertigation practices to sustain the fenugreek growth, yield and also better seed quality. In the present study drip irrigation at three levels (I1 - 25 % CPE, I2- 50 % CPE and I3 - 75 % CPE) and fertigation at four levels (F1 - 25 % RDF, F2 - 50 % RDF, F3 – 75% RDF and F4 - 100 % RDF) were studied in split plot design with three replications.
