The aim of this study is to create the inoculant containing beneficial bacteria producing ACC deaminase, IAA and siderophore, which are isolated from native plant root and rhizosphere soils in islands to improve the coral sand and to support for vegetable growing toward self-sufficiency green vegetable for the daily mean of people in the islands.

In this study, we isolated rice endophytic bacteria and selected strains that have antagonistic activity against Dz for application in controlling the foot rot disease. The endophytic strain VY81 isolated from stem of a rice plant with foot rot disease was studied in details since it had prominent antagonistic activity against Dz.

Mangrove endophytes have recently gained considerable attention due to their diversity and abundance of novel bioactive secondary metabolites. Despite the fact that Streptomyces species are producers of more than 75% of commercialized antibiotics, Streptomyces associated with the extremely widespread mangrove plant Avicennia marina remain poorly characterized. In this study, nine actinomycetes were isolated from A. marina growing in a mangrove forest, as yet unexplored, of Quang Ninh province, Vietnam.

Endophytic fungi, microfungi that internally infect living plant tissues, are reported to have the ability to synthesize many enzymes, plant growth hormones and pharmaceutically active compounds similar to those in their hosted plants. Alangium salviifolium is an important medicinal plant with various activities reported. It is suggested that the medicinal property of the plant is either because of their endophytes or the endophytes inherit the medicinal properties from their host plant. This study aims to find antagonistic bacteria that are able to provide the highest resistance to the growth of pathogenic Xoo bacteria in rice plants. Antagonistic bacteria were isolated from the leaves and roots of rice plants through surface sterilization and serial dilution. Obtained 53 bacterial isolates consisting of 20 bacterial isolates from leaves and 33 bacterial isolates from roots tested hypersensitive to tobacco plants for filtering potential non-pathogenic bacteria.

In the present investigation, an attempt was made to isolate endophytic fungi from rice plant (Oryza sativa L.). A total of 48 fungi were isolated from 288 segments, from 4 varieties (Gitanjali, Hiranyamayee, Khandagiri and Lalat) of rice plant (Oryza sativa L). The coloniczation frequency of the endophytic fungi were observed to be 16.87% and 16.40% in leaf and stem respectively.
