Logarithm distribution

In the paper "Remarks on decaying solutions to distributed order differential equations", we present results on the asymptotic behavior of the solutions to distributed order differential equations in Euclidean spaces. The paper develops some recent results in [1] on fractional differential equations to the case of more general nonlocal derivatives. We utilize the detailed behavior of the relaxation functions instead of the Mittag–Leffler functions. The typical decaying rate is logarithmic due to the ultra-slow phenomenon.

Forecasting of area/yield/production of crops is one of the important aspects in agricultural sector. Crop yield forecasts are extremely useful in formulation of policies regarding stock, distribution and supply of agricultural produce to different areas in the country. In this study the forecast values of area, yield and hence production of rabi pulses are found. ARIMA method should not be used for finding the forecasted values for the testing period as this would increase the uncertainty with the end period of testing data.

An attempt was made to study the soil water movement under two type of plastic mulch (black and white) with drip irrigated eggplant on a line source dripper. Both spatial and temporal variation of wetting pattern was determined in sandy loam soil using surfer 15 software. The layout of the experiment was three treatments tested, black mulched drip irrigation (BM+DI), white mulched drip irrigation (WM+DI) and drip irrigation without mulching. The results of the study indicated that DI + BM and DI + WM treatments distinctly decreased water applied in the order of DI + WM < DI + BM < DI.

In this report, the DSA digital signature scheme has been introduced. Based on these digital signature scheme, a new digital signature scheme on the ring of Zn is developed. Its computing complexity is similar to the DSA and getting rid of some unwanted disadvantages of the DSA digital signature scheme and can be applied in practice.

This paper re-investigates the method of the two-point velocity method and a sensitive analysis is theoretically carried out and verified with experiment data. The results show that velocity data can be used to estimate n for fully roughturbulent wide channels.

In this paper, we introduce a D-H key distribution protocol over polynomial rings. These protocols use some polynomials with two cyclomic cosets in the center of the ring as part of the private keys. We give some examples over the polynomial rings Zp, where p is a prime number. We also give a security analysis of the proposed protocols and conclude that the only possible attack is by brute force.

Recent work on Conditional Random Fields (CRFs) has demonstrated the need for regularisation to counter the tendency of these models to overfit. The standard approach to regularising CRFs involves a prior distribution over the model parameters, typically requiring search over a hyperparameter space. In this paper we address the overfitting problem from a different perspective, by factoring the CRF distribution into a weighted product of individual “expert” CRF distributions. We call this model a logarithmic opinion pool (LOP) of CRFs (LOP-CRFs). We apply the LOP-CRF to two sequencing tasks.
