Angioleiomyoma is a very rare benign solitary soft tissue neoplasm originating from smooth muscle layer of blood vessels. The tumor is usually located in the subcutis or the superficial fasciae, but less often in the deep fasciae, especially rare in the knee joint cavity.

Twenty-four Karan Fries cattle in early lactation with good body condition score (>3 at 6 point scale) were allotted four treatments randomly in summer to study the effect of cooling in combination with altered fodder concentrate ratio on various production parameters. Provision of cooling as well as higher concentrate allowances significantly (P0.05) by feeding or cooling strategies. The present research work was aimed to study an incidence, clinical findings and haemato-biochemical changes in foreign body syndrome in cattle. Overall incidence of FBS was 49.31% with highest in Holsten Friesian (69.44%) followed by Jersey (8.33%), Gir (5.55%) and Non-descript (5.55%). Further it was more in females (91.66%) than male (8.33%).General observations in FBS cases revealed change in posture and gait, distended and impacted rumen, scanty or loose faeces, normal to emaciated and hide bound body condition.

An experiment on the insect pollinators was conducted with four summer squash hybrids viz., Parikrama, Chandra, Chamatkar and Gold Queen at the Research Farm of the Department of Entomology, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. Based on pollination index (loose pollen grains sticking on the body x abundance x foraging rate), A. mellifera was the most efficient pollinator of C. pepo with pollination index of 1177360 followed by A. dorsata (773280 ) and A. cerana (223420) and A. florea with pollination index 63480 under agro-ecological conditions of Hisar (Haryana).

Foraging behavior of bumble bees and honey bees with respect to foraging activity, foraging rate, foraging speed, loose pollen grains and abundance were studied by utilization of bumble bees (B. haemorrhoidalis) and European honey bees for the pollination of kiwifruit cv.
