—Through a correlative comparative analysis, the purpose of this study is to utilize LP and the data accumulated between (2009 - 2017) to investigate the optimality of the current transportation strategy of actual costs to transport major Jordanian exports and imports. Study findings reveal that current exporting and importing strategies are ineffective. Results assert that decision-makers have not developed nor have taken the required action needed to resolve excessive expenditures.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the function of TRPV4 on ferroptosis in ALI mice induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). In vitro, the regulation of TRPV4 on Ca2+ and ferroptosis was detected by CCK-8, fluorescent probe, and western blot in BEAS-2B cells. In vivo, the role of TRPV4 antagonists on ALI mice was analyzed by determination of pulmonary inflammation, pulmonary edema, and ferroptosis.

The purpose of this study was to study the pathogenecity of cold and heatshocked bacteria using Pasteurella multocida and rabbits as a model. Pasteurella multocida is an enigmatic pathogen. The capsule and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) of Pasteurella multocida constitute the major components of the bacterial cell surface; they play key roles in a range of interactions between the bacteria and the hosts they colonize or infect. In this paper we simultaneously address four constraints relevant to airline revenue management problem: Flight cancellation, customer no-shows, overbooking and refunding. We develop a linear program closely related to the dynamic program formulation of the problem which we later use to approximate the optimal decision rule for rejecting or accepting customers. We give a novel proof that the optimal objective function of this linear program is always an upper bound for the dynamic program.

Results of computational complexity exist for a wide range of phrase structure-based grammar formalisms, while there is an apparent lack of such results for dependency-based formalisms. We here adapt a result on the complexity of ID/LP-grammars to the dependency framework. Contrary to previous studies on heavily restricted dependency grammars, we prove that recognition (and thus, parsing) of linguistically adequate dependency grammars is~A/T'-complete.

In (Kanazawa, 1998) it was shown that rigid Classical Categorial Grammars are learnable (in the sense of (Gold, 1967)) from strings. Surprisingly there are recent negative results for, among others, rigid associative Lamb ek (L) grammars.
