In this paper, we present some ideas and methods to create new problems of proving inequalities, problems of finding maximum and minimum values. Based on the maximum and minimum properties and tangent inequalities of convex and concave functions, we propose some ideas and methods to create new problems.

Sequences of the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I (COI) gene of one Greek and 25 Turkish Myzus cerasi (Fabricus) (Hemiptera: Aphididae) populations collected from Prunus avium and Prunus cerasus were analyzed. The partial coding region of COI studied is 605 bp for all the populations, from which 565 nucleotides were conserved, 40 were variable, 37 were singleton, and 3 were parsimony-informative. Four haplotypes were identified based on nucleotide substitutions and the mean of intraspecific divergence was calculated to be 0.3%.

Lecture Chapter 6: Supply, Demand, and Government Policies, In this chapter you will: A price ceiling is a legal maximum on the price of a good. An example is rent control. If the price ceiling is below the eq’m price, it is binding and causes a shortage. A price floor is a legal minimum on the price of a good. An example is the minimum wage. If the price floor is above the eq’m price, it is binding and causes a surplus. The labor surplus caused by the minimum wage is unemployment.

The effects of zeatin, salicylic acid, and plant oligoadenylates on susceptibility of wheat seedlings to powdery mildew and the shape of dose-response curves for immunomodulation were studied. Salicylic acid and zeatin produced complex dose-responses with upregulation or downregulation of plant susceptibility. Under different experimental conditions, the dose-response curve for zeatin varied in shape from a curve with a maximum to a curve with a minimum of susceptibility to powdery mildew.

The present study was conducted to evaluate mango (Mangifera indica L.) rootstocks under induced moisture stress condition for various morpho-physiological traits. The result revealed that the rootstock Totapuri recorded minimum plant height (23.55 cm), stem diameter (1.16 cm), leaf area (380.30cm²), stomatal density (78.36 No./mm²), plant biomass (98.00 g) and maximum relative water content (90.26 %).

Methane emission from various sources of biosphere contributes to the global warming/climate change related problems. Methane release from standing dead or age old trees, a new-fangled source for emission of CH4, was investigated. The experiment was carried out in tropical and subtropical forest ecoregions of Western Ghats of India. A standardized protocol was formulated for sampling and analysis of the gas samples collected from dead/decay trees. Based on our standardized protocol maximum and minimum emission of CH4 concentration was recorded.

Estimation of crop water requirement is essential for agricultural planning and irrigation scheduling. The aim of this study was to compute the water requirement of wheat and rice crops for all districts of Haryana. Climatic data on maximum and minimum temperature, rainfall, relative humidity, wind speed and solar radiation were used to estimate the reference evapotranspiration (ETo) at different gridded locations by using Penman Monteith method in MATLAB software.

Investigations were carried out on fifteen cultivars of strawberry for growth, yield and quality characters. The results recorded reveal that maximum plant height (35.30cm) and number of runners (8.82) were in cultivar Catskill, however the average plant spread was found to be highest in Curaltar (34.16 cm) while cultivar Camarosa recorded maximum leaf area (42.86 cm2 ). Longest cultivar duration of bloom (85.30 days) was observed in cultivar Everly and minimum (55.38 days) in cultivar Winter Dawn.

During the investigation sucking pest viz; white fly and jassid were appeared in 33 standard meteorological week and maximum population of whitefly (0.60 per plant) and jassid (0.40 per plant) was recorded in 37th SMW. Correlation with sucking pest (whitefly and jassid) population and meteorological parameters was found positive non significant association with evening relative humidity and minimum temperature but negative correlation with maximum temperature, morning relative humidity and rainfall.

The results of the present investigation indicated that, different pruning treatments and fertilizer levels produced significant effect on growth and yield attributes of guava. The treatment of 45 cm of past season’s growth with application of fertilizer levels of 125% RDF (1000:500:500 g NPK/tree) recorded the significant effect on the growth parameter like plant height, shoot length, shoot diameter and number of leaves per shoot and produced maximum values of all these growth parameters with minimum days of flowering and fruit set. The maximum yield (60.41 kg/tree and 16.79 t/ha.

In this study, analyzed the long-term changes in temperature and precipitation in the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh to understand the climate change impact on regional weather. Current (2001-2010) and past (1984-2000) climatic scenario revealed that the region has experienced increase in maximum and minimum temperature. Temperatures in different seasons of the year viz. winter, spring, summer and autumn have shown increasing trends, whereas the precipitation in the form of rainfall decreased except in autumn season.

Postharvest rots of papaya reduce quality as well as quantity of papaya (Carica papaya L.). Due to firm texture, various microorganisms attack the fruit during ripening stages and cause losses. During the present investigation, effect of various weather factors on the progress of different rots was studied during the year 2019-20.

A field experiment conducted on the effect of organic treatments and spacing on growth and yield parameters of kalmegh under rabi season 2017-18 at college of Horticulture, Rajendranagar revealed that interaction between organic treatments and spacing significantly influenced growth and yield parameters. The treatment M1S1 - FYM 30 t/ha + AMC (7.5 l/ha) with spacing S1 (15 x15 cm) recorded maximum plant height (45.64 cm) at harvest, followed by M3S3- Neem cake 7.5 t/ha + AMC 7.5 l/ha with spacing S3 (30 x 45 cm). Minimum was recorded in M5S3 – control at spacing (S3- 30 x 45 cm).

The aim of this study was to estimate solar radiation and reference crop evapotranspiration by using of limited weather parameters. This paper also describes the modification of the original equation with maximum and minimum temperatures for solar radiation. Thus, modifications involved for the corrections associated with climatological parameters and also to determine the accuracy and applicability of a number of existing and newly developed formulae for calculating solar radiation from other weather variables.
