Hence, poor sleep will affect the body's capacity to think and focus, raise the risk of health issues, and have a negative impact on learning, causing occupational mistakes and accidents. Currently, many patients with dermatophytosis are treated with a variety of antifungal drugs but they are ineffective and relapses are common. Many antifungal drugs have been used but fails to treat the disease, which can globally become an issue in medical practice. The combination of antifungal drugs for the treatment of dermatophytosis, including oral itraconazole and topical terbinafine, has been shown to be more effective than monotherapy.

NAD(P)H regeneration is important for biocatalytic reactions that require these costly cofactors. A mutant phosphite dehydrogenase (PTDH-E175A⁄A176R) that utilizes both NAD and NADP efficiently is a very promising system for NAD(P)H regeneration. In this work, both the kin-etic mechanism and practical application of PTDH-E175A⁄A176R were investigated for better understanding of the enzyme and to provide a basis for future optimization.
