Mild reaction condition

We report ammonium metavanadate catalyzed one-pot synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrano[3,2- c]chromenes, from aldehydes, active methylene compounds malononitrile and 4-hydroxycoumarin in water:ethanol(1:1) under reflux. The attractive features of this process are mild reaction conditions, short reaction times, easy isolation of products, and excellent yields.

In this work, the Fe3O4@SiO2@AMBI/Cu nanocatalyst was synthesized and used as a well-organized magnetic nanocatalyst for the click reaction. This nanocatalyst has effectively catalyzed the cyclization of terminal alkynes and sodium azide with aryl iodide/benzyl halide for the formation of 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles under mild reaction conditions with good to high yields in low reaction time.

A clean and efficient, mediated in water and assisted by ultrasound method for the synthesis of a series of N-substituted 1-amino-3-ferrocenyl-3-oxoprop-1-enes starting from acetyl ferrocene was developed.
