Milling of complex
-
The machining of complex sculptured surfaces is an important technological topic in modern manufacturing, namely in the molds and dies sector. Today, this sector, with great importance to automotive, aircraft and others advanced industries, is placed in all industrialized or emerging countries. In the recent past, the traditional technology employed in molds and dies manufacture was a combination of con- ventional milling and electro-discharge machining (EDM) or electrochemical machining (ECM).

India has large population of draught animals and bullocks are main draft animals in the country followed by he-buffaloes. This study is to be focus on feasibility testing of mini rice mill operation in animal driven rotary mode system for operating mini rice mill. A study was conducted for operating a mini rice mill with the help of a rotary gear complex, installed in the premises of Swami Vivekananda College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology and Research Station, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (CG).

Chemotherapy via oral route of anticancer drugs offers much convenience and compliance to patients. However, oral chemotherapy has been challenged by limited absorption due to poor drug solubility and intestinal efflux. In this study, we aimed to develop a nanosuspension formulation of oridonin (Odn) using its cyclodextrin inclusion complexes to enhance oral bioavailability. Nanosuspensions containing Odn/2 hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin inclusion complexes (Odn-CICs) were prepared by a solvent evaporation followed by wet media milling technique.

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum Mill.) is the most popular vegetable world-wide. It is used as a fresh vegetable and also can be processed and canned in the form of paste, juice, sauce, powder or as a whole. The ripe fruits are good source of vitamin A, B and C which add a wide range of colour and flavour to the food. Recently, it started gaining more medicinal value because of the antioxidant property of ascorbic acid and lycopene content. The tomato is known to be affected by different diseases caused by fungi, bacteria, viruses and nematodes.

The authors propose a historical and conceptual analysis of the key concept of emergence to emphasize the potential bridge between econophysics and economics. Six methodological arguments will be developed in order to show the existence of conceptual bridges as a necessary condition for the elaboration of a common language between economists and econophysics which would not be superfluous, in this challenging context, to clarify the growing complexity of economic phenomena.

According to Strabo, a water powered mill was built in Kaberia of the kingdom of Mithridates during the 1st century BC. Use of water wheels in mills spread throughout the Roman Empire over the next few centuries. Some were quite complex, with aqueducts, dams, and sluices to maintain and channel the water, along with systems of gears, or toothed-wheels made of wood and metal to regulate the speed of rotation. In a poem by Ausonius in the 4th century AD, he mentions a stone-cutting saw powered by water. Hero of Alexandria is credited with many such wind and steam powered...

Most of the RP technologies are additive; that is, the model is made automatically by building up contoured laminations sequentially from materials such as photopolymers, extruded or beaded plastic, and even paper until they reach the desired height. These processes can be used to form internal cavities, overhangs, and complex convoluted geometries as well as simple planar or curved shapes.

Grain chalkiness is a complex trait adversely affecting appearance and milling quality, and therefore has been one of principal targets for rice improvement. Eliminating chalkiness from rice has been a daunting task due to the complex interaction between genotype and environment and the lack of molecular markers.
