In this study, Taguchi's experimental design method was used to improve the yield of FOX-7. Verification of the results shows that the optimal synthesis parameters are as follows: the molar ratio of HNO3/MPD is 8, the reaction time is 180 minutes, and the reaction temperature is 15°C; the maximum yield of FOX-7 can reach 79.14%.

This study aimed to extract and evaluate some properties and the capability of phenolic components from shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) peels for usage as fish preservative. It was found that shallot peels extracted twice with 70 % ethanol solvent, within 60 minutes, at 60 oC and the ratio of solid/liquid 1/20 (g/mL) gave highest polyphenol and flavonoid yields. Total polyphenol content and total flavonoid content of the extract were 224.34±5.66 mg GAE/g DW and 255.11±4.35 mg QE/g DW, respectively.

In this work, a UV absorber compound (E)-2-(((4-(benzyloxy)phenyl)imino)methyl)phenol was synthesized by microwave method using a two steps protocol. In the first step, α-(4-hydroxyphenylimino)-o-cresol (1) was synthesized from 4-aminophenol and salicylaldehyde by circulating under microwave heating at 60 oC for 8 minutes, the reaction yield reached 82.91 %.

It was found that the speakers employed different types of CS, among which intrasentential switches being the most popular compared to other categories. The results of this study based on analysis system of hypothesis test showed before using the system it took 8,6840 minutes and after using the system it only took 4,3197 minutes. It means, there are changes in sales transactions before and after using the information system in Optik Sejahtera.

In this study, a performance of shrimp paste production is measured by using simulation approach. A discrete event simulation model is developed to illustrate the processes in the production line which involved four major processes. From the model, it is estimated that the average process time taken to produce 2000 pieces of shrimp paste is 235.13 minutes while the average waiting time taken in the operation system is 89.21 minutes. The findings also show that the bottleneck of the production process is found to be at packaging process and some of the resources are not fully utilized.

PPARγ coactivator-1α (PGC-1α), as a master coregulator of gene expression in mitochondrial biogenesis, was found to be transiently upregulated in microglia after AIS.
