Fifty-five Indian mustard genotypes comprising forty-five hybrids and ten parental genotypes along with a two checks viz., NRCHB-506 and DMH-1 were evaluated for stability parameters of morphological and biochemical characters over the three different environments. Pooled analysis of variance over three environments showed that the genotypic variance when tested against G × E were significant for all the eight characters when tested against pooled error.Pooled deviation effect was significant for all the traits except protein content.

Comparison between aquaponics, hydroponics and traditional method for cultivation of spinach was carried out. In this study, spinach was grown in the soilless media like perlite and sphagnum moss. Medias were used to support plant growth. From these Media the perlite media was used in aquaponics and sphagnum moss was used in hydroponics. This study was carried out to examine different morphological characters like height, germination period, surface area, yield of spinach, and biochemical analysis like protein, carbohydrate, chlorophyll content.

The present study was conducted on 25 sorghum genotypes grown in Randomized Block Design during Kharif 2015 to evaluate, categorize and classify them for fodder yield and quality traits. Observations were recorded on eighteen variables involving morphological, quality. Wide range of variation, high coefficient of variation, were recorded for number of leaves per plant, green fodder yield, dry fodder yield and DDM, therefore it revealed the possibility of their further improvement. The mean squares due to genotypes were recorded highly significant for all the 18 characters studied.

Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceris is a ubiquitous seed and soil borne pathogen in several crops. It survives in the soil without host from several years. To manage the wilt pathogen is such as a difficult in crop management. The rhizobacteria as grouped under two categories by the cultural, morphological and biochemical characters. Ten isolates (CPs1 to CPs9) were identified as Pseudomonas sp. by medium to strong production of KOH, HCN production and siderophore synthesis.

Peanut bud necrosis disease is one of the major viral diseases in peanut. Interspecific peanut pre-breedinglines along with susceptible checks (KRG-1 and TMV2) were tested under field conditions at hot spot location over two seasons. Out of 34 lines, 16 lines were found resistant, while 16 were moderately resistant. Significant negative association was observed between PBND incidence and phenol content, number of trichomes on leaf, petioles and stem. While significant positive association was observed between PBND incidence and total soluble sugar, free amino acid and leaf thickness.

Sorghum is an essential crop in the semi-arid tropics being attacked by nearly 150 species of insects, out of which Chilo partellus is the more devastating pest. Based on the foliar damage the resistance and susceptible genotypes of sorghum can be screened. For further understanding of the host plant resistance relationship between sorghum and stem borer the orientation behaviour and larval establishment behaviour can be studied. The host plant resistance in sorghum to C. partellus can be either morphological or biochemical.

Khasi Mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco.) is one of the most widely cultivated and important commercial fruit crop of North East India. A survey was conducted in Mandarin orchards from three district of Manipur viz., Tamenglong, Bishnupur and Noney during 2018 to study the present status of Khasi Mandarin in Manipur with growth, yield and quality parameters. The Mandarin fruits were evaluated morphologically and biochemically for different parameters. It was observed that all the three district of Manipur was found to have Khasi Mandarin in the orchards but it was gradually declined.

During kharif 2017, among the 20 genotypes screened indicated that lowest mean population of yellow mite and highest mean leaf hair density and trichome length were recorded in Chaitanya (MRC-7377) (0.29 yellow mite/ leaf) followed by Soumya (SRCH-55) and were superior to all the genotypes. While highest mean yellow mite population and least mean leaf hair density and trichome length were observed in Super fibre (KDCHB-407) (2.

India. A significant variation was detected for all traits suggested that there was considerable variability among germplasm. The protein content in jamun seed was recorded 1.35% (NJ12) to1.89% (NJ6) whereas, in jamun fruit was recorded in range of 1.95% (NJ7) to 2.39% (NJ11) The crude fat content in jamun seed was recorded 0.

Although, India is the largest mango producing country in the world and also is the home of more than 1,000 mango cultivars but the productivity of mango in our country is low. Hence improvement work for the development of mango cultivars with higher yield and productivity is the utmost importance. For successful improvement work, proper identification of genetic resources or the parental materials is the basic need. Hence, the aim of study was to identify, characterize and recommend mango cultivars to broaden the varietal spectrum.
