Nasal polyps

As a typical “united airway” disease, asthma-chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) overlap has recently drawn more attention. Bronchiectasis is a heterogeneous disease related to a variety of diseases. Whether bronchiectasis exists and correlates with asthma-CRS patients has not been fully elucidated.

Aim of the study is to prospectively examine the Bacteriology of Chronic Rhinosinusitis at MNR Medical College & Hospital, Sangareddy, and to evaluate the antibiotic sensitivity pattern, and to discuss an empirical basis for the initial choice of the appropriate antibiotic. 217 suspected patients were included in the study. The relevant clinical details of the patients including the co-morbidities in the medical records were examined.
