The Pteriomorphia is a subclass of Bivalvia, phylum Mollusca that lives in saltwater. The species in this subclass have a soft body, with a protective and supportive limestone shell. The species belonging to the subclass Pteriomorphia quite varied in morphology and ecological characteristics. Many species with high nutrition are used as valuable foods.

The research was carried out at the internally displacement persons camps around Al Genaina Locality. Its objectives are to assess the status of natural forests so as to know the density of trees, their types and distribution in the study area. The activities of displacements in the area caused the deterioration of natural forests. Point-Centered Quarter Method (PCQ) was used to calculate the trees density. The results showed that the tree density was five trees per hectare. Clotropis procera became the dominant species in the study area due to continuous cutting down of tees.

Hoang Lien National Park has 25,113.66 ha of forest under its management, including the main forest types as natural broadleaf evergreen forest (poor; average and rehabilitation forests), bamboo, bamboo and mixed forests, and plantation forest. There are small areas of natural rich forest left, mainly located in strictly protected zone, and 2,143.75 ha of uncovered land or area of regenerating woody plants.

The present study investigated the natural and artificial regeneration of tree species of semi-arid region. All selected sites of this present study were Taj Nature Park, Shajahan Garden, Paliwal Park, Company Garden and Mau Forest in Agra. In this study, natural and artificial regeneration of tree species were categorized according to family wise and habitat wise. According to family wise, maximum artificial regeneration was 17 percent (Fabaceae) and minimum percentage was 7 percent (Meliaceae).

To address the situation with the aim of proactive prevention, the Prime Minister issued the Directive No. 25/CT-TTg, dated 31/8/2016, on some urgent missions and solutions to protect environment. In recent decades, unsustainable use of resources and the implementation of dams upstream accompanied with sea level rise acceleration has led to an extreme mangrove depletion, increase of coastal vulnerability in the Mekong delta. For the first time, a list of tropical bee species found in Northern and North Central Vietnam is provided. This list includes 59 bee species in 21 genera belonging to 5 families. Bees were collected in protected areas, i.e. national parks and nature reserves in 2011-2012 during the spring-summer and summer-autumn seasons. At high elevations exceeding 300 m a.s.l., bee abundance was dominated by bumble bee species, such as Bombus magrettii and B. trifasciatus, and two honey bees Apis laboriosa and A. dorsata were occurred in forest and moutain areas.
