The field experiment was conducted at Agronomy Research Farm of SKUAST-K during Kharif season 2014 and 2015. Three N levels (N1: 120, N2: 150, N3: 180 kg/ha) and four Si applications (Si0: Control, Si1: 5%, Si2: 10% and Si3:15%) were applied to the rice crop. Number of tillers m-2 and relative growth rate were significantly highest with 180kgN ha-1 from 30-45DAT but from 60DAT upto harvest, these growth parameters were significantly highest with 120kgN ha-1 . However, number of tillers m-2 and relative growth rate were significantly highest with 15%Si.

A field experiment was conducted on alluvial soil to study the effect of growth and yield of rice as influenced by different levels of nitrogen and method of basal and split application of nitrogen at Banaras Hindu University during kharif season of 2016. Crop response to treatment was measured in the terms of various quantitative and qualitative indices of plant growth like plant height, chlorophyll content, Number of tiller, penicle length and grain and straw yield, content of N, P and K in grain and straw were analyzed after harvest of the rice crop.

A field experiment was conducted for 4 successive years, consisting of eight treatments laid out in randomized block design to evaluate the nutrient content and uptake by wheat (Triticum aestivum L) as influenced by iron and zinc enriched FYM on salt affected soils of Gujarat. The results reveal that application of recommended dose of fertilizer (120-60- 00 NPK kg ha-1 ) on the basis of STV + 0.5 t FYM ha-1 enriched with 0.75 kg Zn and 1.

A field experiment was carried out during kharif, 2018 at the research farm of the ICAR, Indian Institute of Rice Research (IIRR), Hyderabad, Telangana state. The soil of the experimental field was clay loam in texture, low in available nitrogen, medium in phosphorus and high in potassium content. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with eleven treatments and each one replicated thrice. Highest net returns Rs 92,658 ha-1 was recorded with the application of 100% RDN through neem coated urea.

Experiment was conducted during Kharif season 2018 at New Upland Research Station cum Instructional Farm, Lamker under SG college of Agriculture and Research Station, Jagdalpur, Bastar (CG). The experiment was laid out in split plot design with three replications. Main plot was three levels of fertilizer i.e. F1 (75% RDF), F2 (100% RDF) and F3 (125% RDF), and sub plot was four different spacing viz. S1 (22.5 x 10 cm), S2 (30 x 10 cm), S3 (45 x 10 cm) and S4 (60 x 10 cm). Grain yield, fodder yield per plot and per ha was recorded significantly highest in F3 among fertility levels.
