Nitrogen fertilizer dosage

The nitrogen fertilizer dosage experiment was organized in summer 2016, including 4 levels of 100, 120, 140 and 160 kg N/ha. Other non-experimental elements were identical. The results showed that the highest yield and economic efficiency were for the treatments of 200 kg seed/ha with a nitrogen fertilizer dose of 140 kg N/ha.

An experiment was conducted to find out the effect of organic and inorganic sources of fertilizers along with bioinoculants on growth, yield and quality of aonla cv. NA-7 during 2016 and 2017. Maximum increment in vegetative parameters viz., increment in plant height (10.92%), plant spread (13.91% NS and 13.88% EW) and canopy volume (40.32%) was recorded with the application of cent per cent nitrogen through urea and Azotobacter with recommended dosage of SSP and MOP. The study was conducted in Andhra Pradesh state during 2017-18. A total of 120 Bt cotton tenant farmers were selected randomly for the study. Data was collected by interview schedule. Majority (65.83%) of the Bt cotton tenant farmers had medium knowledge, followed by low (17.50%) and high (16.67%) level of knowledge regarding recommended package of practices in Bt cotton.
