  • This study investigates the relationship between perceived internal CSR practices and Organizational Commitment (OC) among employees in the banking sector of Vietnam. Data were collected through a self-administered survey method from 300 employees of major bankings of Vietnam. The findings of the study reveal that perceived internal CSR practices have a significant and strong positive relationship with an organizational commitment among employees. Practices in corporate social responsibility explained 64.8% of the total variation on employee commitment.

  • Knowledge sharing (KS) is a culture that has been fostered and supported in higher learning institutions (HLIs) in Malaysian. This research applies Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Social Capital Theory (SCT) to determine the factors associated with Malaysian academic's KS intention in HLIs. The results indicate that social networking is an important factor of academics’ attitude to KS, while commitment and trust do not influence their attitude to KS. Using social media is found to be a significant factor of perceived behavioral control towards KS.

  • The results showed that there were low correlation between years of work and continuance commitment; between gender and affective commitment; between highest degree earned with normative commitment. There was a moderate correlation between position hold and affective commitment. There was a low negative correlation between age and normative commitment. The correlation between other demographic variables with OC was negligible.
