The study adopted a validated questionnaire measuring online learning self-efficacy, highlighting five aspects: course completion, social interactions, online tool management, interactions with instructors, and academic socialization. The findings reveal an overall moderate belief of online self-efficacy from participants in all dimensions.

This study aims to explore how lecturers’ perceptions about technology integration into online teaching and learning differ depending on their differences in age, gender, teaching experience and IT level in the context of the e-learning system of Hochiminh City Open University. An online questionnaire was delivered to individual emails of 101 lecturers operating at least one online subject. The purpose of this case study was to investigate online discussion as a means to promote critical reflection. The study was conducted during a semester-long graduate course on issues related to literacy instructional strategies. The participants in the study were four reading education candidates. During the semester they participated in online discussion about course readings and reflected on their own teaching experiences. The data sources were the online discussion postings, responses to questionnaires, and interviews.
