Microstructural, optical, AC dielectric impedance, and conductivity properties of pure PVA and PVA: NaSe SCF samples doped with various NaSe salt fillers were investigated. The XRD study confirmed the semicrystalline structure of the PolVA:NaSe SCF samples which explicated the semi-crystalline nature of the pure PolVA as a matrix.

One-dimensional Al-doped CdS nanobelts were synthesized for the first time via chemical vapor deposition. The vertically synthesized Cd1-xAlxS nanobelts (x ¼ 0e3.09) exhibited high crystallinity. We have reported here an investigation of optical and electrical properties of prepared nanobelts for potential applications in nano-optoelectronics.

In this study, the first-principle calculations using Density Functional Theory are used to evaluate the mechanical, electronic and transport properties of the NiS2 monolayer structure. The obtained results show that the monolayer structure NiS2 is broken at the tensile strain of 18% in the x direction and 14% in the y direction.

The focus of this study is to investigate its optical and conductive properties under different conditions of doping environments, temperature and polymerization conditions. Optical characterization technique such as UV-Visible spectroscopy is developed to carry out the investigation. The developed nanofibers have been demonstrated to possess optical and conductive properties to be dependent on doping variables. Study of these optical properties could prove very useful in the development of electrochromic devices and gas sensors.

In this study, a new copolymer, which is a combination of two chemical structure (9,10-di(furan-2-yl)anthracene and 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene was synthesized via electrochemical synthesis methods in the electrolyte medium of 0.1 M TBAPF6 / ACN solution. PEDOT homopolymer was also electrosynthesized for comparator experiments of the polymer formations in the same medium. The characterizations of polymers were achieved with general optical and electrochemical characterization techniques.

Batch-type laboratory reactivity experiments and mo delling of hydrogeochemical interactions of a granite-scCO2-water system were conducted at 100 °C and 10 MPa in order to evaluate the geochemical and mineralogical responses of the granite to long-term reaction.
