Use of probiotics for the control of post-harvest diseases has opened new avenue in the management of post-harvest plant pathogens and organic farming. Such probiotics has never been used in the crop production or crop protection programme in Agriculture. The post-harvest pathogens particularly Rhizopus, Aspergillus, Penicillium and Alternaria can be checked as a post-harvest pathogen by sprays of probiotics under natural field conditions when the load of inoculums of these post-harvest pathogens is less in fruits.

Considering the importance of micronutrients and bio regulators in determining quality production of onion, the present investigation was undertaken. The experiment laid out in RBD with twenty-seven treatments in three replications. Micronutrients like Fe and Zn added in to the soil through alone and combination with FYM and cow dung slurry as per treatment. Fe and Zn also applied through foliar spraying alone and combination with amino acid, GA3 and 2-4-D.

This study demonstrates that the use of organic sprays viz., FAA, EAA and Vermiwash could be used as a valuable organic liquid fertilizer for better yield from Amaranthus and also without the harmful effects of chemical fertilizers. Increase in Fish consumption results in waste production which can be reutilized to reduce the negative impact on environment.

The experiment on management of early blight of tomato with the new combi molecule was conducted during Kharif 2018 in the bio-resource farm of Institute of organic farming, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad. The new molecule and market sample of Trifloxystrobin 25%+Tebuconazole 50% WG, Azoxystrobin 23% SC, Copper Oxychloride 50% WP were evaluated against early blight incidence. The above chemicals sprayed two times at 15 days interval.

A field study from 2009 to 2013 was carried out to investigate the effect of organic manure including panchagavya and biodynamic spray on commonly used tomato-coriander-pea and cauliflower-cauliflower-peacropping system in Western Himalaya. The results revealed that cropping systems differ significantly in terms of soil microbial properties. The tomato-coriander-pea crop sequence recorded higher soil carbon biomass and population of soil bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes as compared to cauliflowercauliflower-pea crop sequence.

This paper presents an electric back sprayer based on the attributes required by sprayer users with the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) methodology by optimizing sprayers owned by farmers. In agriculture, the process of crop management and care and pest control is carried out routinely to obtain optimal results. The technical implementation of these efforts is carried out through soil and air media by spraying the plant organs. To keep the pressure and spray results stable, continuous pumping is required. This resulted in certainly more energy needed.

Abscission is a highly coordinated developmental process by which plants control vegetative and reproductive organs load. Aiming at get new insights on flower abscission regulation, changes in the global transcriptome, metabolome and physiology were analyzed in ‘Thompson Seedless’ grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) inflorescences, using gibberellic acid (GAc) spraying and shading as abscission stimuli, applied at bloom.

A work was conducted to identify the potential of panchagavya on growth and biochemical parameters of Ocimum Sanctum. Panchagavya were given to the tested plant in form of foliar spray. After 60 days, growth parameters such as shoot length, root length, total plant height, leaf area, number of the leaves, fresh and dried weight and biochemical parameters such as starch, glucose, protein, chlorophyll content were observed in the treated plants.
