In this study, we researched the main aquatic vegetation (AV) species and their orthophosphate and turbidity removal efficiencies in the Lower Kelkit Basin of Turkey. We chose an experimental area (1650 m2) in the field and determined orthophosphate (mg/L) and turbidity (NTU) variables at the charging and discharging points between November 2005 and March 2006.

The present investigation was carried out to observe the effect of moisture and emulsifying salt concentration on sensory attributes of reconstituted dried mozzarella cheese as pizza topping. For this purpose, Mozzarella cheese having optimized composition is dried in vacuum tray dryer below 5% moisture content. Further, dried Mozzarella cheese samples were reconstituted with pasteurized water and added with tri-sodium citrate (TSC) in combination with di-sodium hydrogen orthophosphate (DSHP) emulsifying salt along with common salt at fixed rate.

The red mud wasted from the Guinean bauxite refinery was studied for phosphate removal from model aqueous solutions of potassium orthophosphate (OPh) and sodium tripolyphosphate (TPPh). The red mud has been treated with concentrated sulphuric acid. After filtration of the acid suspension, the activated mud was washed (pH 7), dried and ground to powder.

Từ 13 mẫu chất thải từ trại nuôi bò sữa, trạm thu mua sữa bò, nhà máy sữa, phân lập được 48 dòng vi khuẩn, trong đó có 15/48 dòng vi khuẩn có khả năng tích lũy polyphosphate (poly-P). Hai dòng vi khuẩn LV1 (-5,98 ppm) và LV8b (11,61 ppm) có khả năng tích lũy poly-P cao. Kết quả giải trình tự đoạn 16S rDNA của 2 dòng vi khuẩn LV1 và LV8b cho thấy dòng LV1 có tỉ lệ tương đồng với vi khuẩn Arthrobacter protophormiae 16S rDNA và Arthrobacter sp. Phương pháp sắc ký lỏng nhanh siêu hiệu năng (UPLC), sử dụng đầu dò diod array tử ngoại (UV-PDA) đã được phát triển và đánh giá để xác định cefalexin trong nước thải. Quá trình phân tích được thực hiện trên hệ thống ACQUITY UPLC với cột Cortecs-C18, hệ pha động Methanol - Acetonitril - kali dihydrogen orthophosphate 13,6 g/L - nước cất (2:5:10:83), tốc độ dòng 0,3 ml/phút với đầu dò UV-PDA.

The divisions Bacillariophyta and Chlorophyta were dominant; however, Cyclotella, Navicula, Nitzschia and Synedra of Bacillariophyta, and Chlorella and Scenedesmus of Chlorophyta were abundant. Chlorophyll a reached its maximum levels during June and September 1996 and May 1997, corresponding to the maximum values of orthophosphate, sulphate, calcium and temperature in the lake.

In plants, the uptake from soil and intercellular transport of inorganic phosphate (Pi) is mediated by the PHT1 family of membrane-spanning proton : Pi symporters. The Arabidopsis thaliana AtPHT1 gene family comprises nine putative high-affinity Pi transporters. While AtPHT1;1 to AtPHT1;4 are involved in Pi acquisition from the rhizosphere, the role of the remaining transporters is less clear.
