The use of Oxford uni-compartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) has rapidly increased worldwide, however, the relevance of younger patients for postoperative function after Oxford UKA remains unclear. The main purpose of our study is to clarify the efectivemess of Oxford UKA in the younger Chinese patients with anteromedial osteoarthritis (AMOA). We retrospectively enrolled 252 consecutive patients who underwent Oxford UKA for AMOA with a minimum follow-up of 5 years between March 2013 and December 2016.

Approximately one in five patients undergoing knee replacement surgery experience chronic pain after their operation, which can negatively impact on their quality of life. In order to develop and evaluate interventions to improve the management of chronic post-surgical pain, we aimed to derive a cut-off point in the Oxford Knee Score pain subscale to identify patients with chronic pain following knee replacement, and to characterise these patients using self-reported outcomes.

The focus in the reporting of results after total knee replacement (TKR) has changed from surgeon/ radiologist-based scores to patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs). The questionnaires used in subjective outcome are often originally published in English and need to be validated in different languages.

Osteoarthritis (OA) of the hip is a disease that entails a major burden for patients and the society as a whole. One way of measuring this burden for the patient is through impact on Health-related Quality of Life (HRQL). The Oxford Hip Score (OHS) is a well-known tool to measure HRQL in patients with OA of the hip.

For patients with painful knee osteoarthritis, long-term symptomatic relief may improve quality of life. Cooled radiofrequency ablation (CRFA) has demonstrated significant improvements in pain, physical function and health-related quality of life compared with conservative therapy with intra-articular steroid (IAS) injections.

The use of Oxford Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty (UKA) has increased rapidly in both Western and Asian populations, with excellent functional outcomes and high patient satisfaction. While previous evidence regarding clinical outcomes and survival rates after Oxford UKA was based on studies in Western populations, the results may be different in Asian patients.

There is an ongoing debate regarding optimal fixation of total knee arthroplasty (TKA), however cost has not been addressed as profoundly. Therefore, the current study primarily aimed to compare costs and costeffectiveness 1 year after cemented or uncemented TKA.

Aligning sentences belonging to comparable monolingual corpora has been suggested as a first step towards training text rewriting algorithms, for tasks such as summarization or paraphrasing. We present here a new monolingual sentence alignment algorithm, combining a sentence-based TF*IDF score, turned into a probability distribution using logistic regression, with a global alignment dynamic programming algorithm. Our approach provides a simpler and more robust solution achieving a substantial improvement in accuracy over existing systems. ...

These have all been transferred incorrectly. The answers should be in the form of ticks or check marks (/), not the items they refer to. These answers would probably still be scored as correct, but they take longer to write.

The candidate circled the letter correctly in the booklet, but then transferred the full answer to the answer sheet. The candidate should have written only the letter C on the answer sheet. The answer would probably still be scored as correct, but it takes a lot longer to write than just the letter C.
