A field experiment was carried out during kharif 2015 with thirteen ratios of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P2O5) fertilizers with constant potassium level (25 kg K2O ha-1 ) on soybean cultivar DSb 21 at MARS, UAS, Dharwad. The seed yield increased due to increasing N/P ratios up to 0.78.

A field experiment was conducted to study the on farm crop response to plant nutrients in pre dominant cropping system i.e. rice, (Oryza sativa) - chickpea (Cicer arietinum) and their impact on productivity, soil fertility and economics at Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh state during 2013-14 and 2014-15. An experiment was conducted with three levels of phosphorus (0, 20 and 40 kg/ha) and three levels of spraying of Novel organic liquid fertilizer @ 10 ml/liter (at branching, at flowering and at branching and flowering both) to study the effect of phosphorus and organic liquid fertilizer on yield, quality and nutrient content and uptake. An application of 40 kg P2O5/ha was recorded significantly higher seed yield (1168 kg/ha), haulm yield (2475 kg/ha), protein content (19.34 %), N (3.09% and 0.59%) and P (0.71 and 0.58%) content in seed and haulm over control, respectively.

In the present work, the effect of the CaO/P2O5 ratio on the composition of sol-gel synthesized 58SiO2-(19 x)P2O5–(23 + x)CaO (x = 0, 5, 10 and 15 mol%) glass samples was studied. Further, the effect of NBO/BO ratio on hydroxy carbonated apatite layer (HCA) forming ability based on dissolution behavior in simulated body fluid (SBF) solution was also investigated. CaO/P2O5 ratios of synthesized glass samples were 1.2, 2, 3.6, and 9.5, respectively. NBO/BO ratios were obtained using Raman spectroscopic analysis as 0.58, 1.20, 1.46, and 1.78, respectively.
